Lunch was anything but rewarding.

The pain inside her is more prominent after hearing her friend's wonderful news.

Aparating into the apartment, her chest tightens at the sight of the destroyed home.

Plates smashed into shards.

Glasses Shattered.

Pictures broken.

Cracks in the walls.

It looks as if an Earth Quake and tornado hit at the same time to demolish the place. In each room, the really is nothing that wasn't touched by the quake.

Not finding Draco upstairs, she figures he is probably downstairs- so that's where she goes. The second she enters the hallway, she finds a brown sticky liquid running slowly down towards her feet. Following the trail, she enters the main bar and finds every single bottle behind the bar has been obliterated and the contents of the bottles have pooled behind the bar and are forced to trickle down into the hallway- having no more room for the excessive volume of liquids. Glass litters the floor so bad that she can hardly see the wood underneath it.

What the Hell happened here?!

She asks herself.

"Draco?" She calls out to him- her body shaking from her nerves.

Was this some sort of break in?

Is he alright?

Taking out her phone, she dials him, but receives no answer. So she tries again as she heads back upstairs. Getting in the apartment. She hears his ring tone. Walking back to the bedroom, she drops her own phone as she notices his is on the bed ringing. Going over to it, she cancels the call and looks around at their messy room.

"Draco? This isn't funny." She growls.

She waits and yet he isn't here and she knows that.

Sitting down on the bed- she stare off at the floor- to the exact spot he kneeled and proposed to her. She looks around and sees him everywhere.

Every place they've made love.

Every place he tormented her with tickles.

Every place he told her he loved her.

Every place he said he wasn't going anywhere.

"And where are you now?" She asks no one. "Not here."

She has no more tears. She has no more breath in her lungs.

She only has the growing pain in her gut, the worry and stress in her mind, and her heavy heart.

It hurts.

All of it.

All of her.

All she can do now is take her heels off, crawl into bed and cover up with the blankets.

It doesn't take her long to fall asleep and it doesn't take her long to have her nightmares pouring in at her.

*** Three Weeks***

The day after Draco had up and left, Hermione figured he was just giving her some time before he came around to ask her what was wrong.

In that week, she went to an OBGYN and was informed that she was in fact 10 weeks pregnant. During the rest of that week, her anxiety and stress doubled due to the fact that she hadn't heard from Draco.

Hines and Rodney were worried at his disappearance and in the fact that he destroyed his own bar and home.

But they went about their business as usual- checking in on Hermione, who went to work as if nothing was wrong.
