Alya's POV:
I saw Marinette run past my house.
I realized then something must have happened.
I called her as soon as I could.
"Marinette, please pick up," I spoke into the phone.
I heard the phone receiver being picked up on the other end.
The response was my best friend's tears.
"Marinette, what happened?"
I listened as she explained everything.
I sighed.
The situation was worse than I thought.

I heard the click in my ear as she hung up.
I prayed for a miracle. "Please let him remember, Marinette. "
I shook my head at the text Nino sent.
