"He's not dead. He not dead." Caitlin repeated. "This isn't happening. This isn't happening again."

"Hey, its ok. I got you." Anna moved forwards and pulled her into the corvex.

"Your ok. You're going to be ok Cait." She assured, enveloping her in a hug.

"E-everyone I love, falls apart in front of my eyes. I can't do that to you." She sniffled out.

"I won't fall apart Caitlin. It's going to be fine. Here, get some rest, i'll be here. I'll protect you." Anna assured as she laid Caitlin down. She stayed there for a while until she heard her breath become even, then moved to her bag. She took out The Hunger Games, and re-read it, going at a normal pace. She kept reading, even when Iris and Joe said they were going home, and when Cisco came in to work on a project. She only left when she had finally finished her book and made sure Caitlin was going to be fine. She threw her book into her bag with her mind and stormed out of the room.

She ran around the US multiple times before she got back to the West house and fell asleep in her bed, immediately falling into a nightmare.

Anna gasped as she woke in the cortex. Everything was covered in mist that she couldn't see through. The only thing she saw was Caitlin watching another version of her self sinking into the floor. She tried to yell and move, but nothing came out. Caitlin fell to the floor, drowning in her tears.

Anna woke with sweat all over her face, she got up, went to Star Labs, stopped a couple of robbery's, but nothing felt the same without Jay. Sometimes people would ask where Jay was, and she didn't know what to say, she just looked to the floor and sped away with tears in her eyes.

It went on for days, the same things, nightmare, speedster, and coming home. Barry has closed himself in walls that even Anna couldn't penetrate.

One day, Anna walked into the cortex with Barry to find a very confused Cisco.

"Did you see that?" He asked, his gaze on Caitlin.

"See what?" Anna questioned, following his gaze.

"Caitlin just bit my head off. She's been all business, no emotions lately. She's been..cold." Cisco explained.

Barry muttered something Anna couldn't hear, so she instead moved closer to where Caitlin was.

"That shouldn't be a problem." A dark skinned man muttered as him and a woman walked into the room.

"Oh hey, Dig, Lyla." Barry motioned to them. Anna whipped around. "So your Diggle and Lyla?" She asked, looking at them. Lyla gave a slight nod. "This is my sister Anna." Barry explained.

"We came here to give you the heads up Barry." Diggle explained.

"About what?"

"A meta-human who escaped from A.R.G.U.S. custody, goes by the name King Shark." Lyla explained.

"King Shark?" Anna moved forwards.

"You mean the half man half shark meta human that meant to kill you months ago. I thought he was dead." Cisco leaned down on the bars and Anna thought it was a good idea not to tell them she didn't know what they were talking about.

"That's what A.R.G.U.S. wanted you to believe when they snatched him up, but believe me, this half-shark is very much alive, and his biological imperative is telling him to do one thing." Diggle had his hands on his hips. Anna studied both of them before moving to the table across the room and grabbing a bag of popcorn as she listened to them converse.

"I our custody he kept saying the same thing, 'Zoom wants The Flash dead." Lyla explained as Anna leaned on the table next to Barry.

"We just came here to warn you man." Diggle sighed. Anna studied Caitlin in her thoughts. How delicately her fingers typed on the keyboard and how her emotions were screened on her face.
