Newt Imagine: Nightmare

Alby and Minho came running out of the maze with Newt's limp body in their arms. "W-what happened?" You yelled, not able to hold yourself together. You examined Newt. He was sweaty and covered in blood, his facial expressions screamed pain even though his eyes were shut. He looked lifeless. We don't know." Alby explained rather calmly. "What do you mean you don't know?! Do you even care? Shouldn't you have been watching him?!" You yell as they ignore you. "Answer me!" You gasp, fuming in pain and anger. They carry Newt to the Medjacks, shutting the door in your face. You burst it open, searching the room for Newt. "He's gone Y/N! GONE!" Alby screamed. The last word echoed through your mind continuously.
"Gone.."
"Gone.."
...
"Gone?!" You gasped, sitting up for air, you broke into loud sobs of brokenness.
"Why did you leave me?" You cried, not realizing it was just a dream. You felt someone run up to you. He seemed just as uptight as you were.
"What happened love?!" Newt asked, pulling you into a hug. "Newt, you're here!" You sob into his chest. "I am, what bloody happened!?"
"You were g-gone." You cried harder. "No love, I'm right here, it was just a dream." Newt comforted you, rocking you back and forth and stroking your H/C hair. "Just a bloody dream. I would never leave you. Never." He assured you.
When wiping your tears and lifting your chin, he whispered, I'll always be here with you." Then leaned in to kiss your soft, wet lips.
He won't leave me.
You assured yourself, and kissed him as if you would never see him again.
