You slowly trudged down the hallway with you hoodie pulled over your head. You hated making eye contact with people, especially people from your school. They were cruel, judge mental, and very cliquey. The only person you talked to was Newt; you had been dating him for three years.
Suddenly, someone shoved you into the locker, "Hey, watch where you're going slinthead!" the snotty girl yelled. You rolled your eyes and continued, but she grabbed on to your hood and pulled you back. You were face to face with her now. "Hello?! I said watch where you're going!" You examined her overly drawn on eyebrows and the red lipstick in her teeth. "Snob." You thought.
"Yeah, I shucking heard you."
You muttered.
"Huh? What was that?!" The girl egged on.
I said, I shucki-"
"Hey! Bloody leave her alone!" You heard a familiar voice with an accent and you smiled. Newt.
He shoved her off of you and told her to shuck off. She rolled her eyes and left, intimidated by his height. "Newt, I don't know how much longer I can take this."
You bursted into tears once the hallway cleared. Your tough ego was sent crashing down to the floor, along with your tears.
Newt immediately grabbed you into his arms and rocked you back and fourth. Only three more months until summer love, you can do it. You're a warrior, right?" Newt whispered, looking deep into your eyes. You nodded slowly and he booped your nose, then leaned down to kiss you. His soft lips crashed against yours.
"How about we ditch the rest of the day and go out somewhere, how's that sound?" Newt smiled excitedly and you couldn't help but slightly smile back.
"There's that smile."
You smiled even wider.
"I love you Newt, I don't know what I'd do without you."
"Me neither Y/N, me neither."
He kissed your forehead and grasped your hand, locking his fingers with yours.

He opened the door for you and held your hand until you got settled in his car. He purposely climbed over top of you and kissed your nose before he plopped into the drivers seat.
"Ice cream?" You suggested.
"Ice cream." He agreed.
"Perhaps ice cream will be our always?" You joked.
"Perhaps so." He nodded giggling at your silliness.
