You ran into the woods and found the corner of the glade. You sat there, hugging your legs with tears pouring down your cheeks. Surely no one would find you here. You saw the new Greenie kissing Newt's cheek, and batting her shucking long lashes. How could she?! She knew I liked him! This is the last time I ever talk to anyone here in this buggin' place. You assured yourself. I hate the new greenie, I hate the glade, and I-I hate Newt! You thought, but you didn't mean it. You feel a light tap on your shoulder.
It was Newt; It had to be.
Maybe you couldn't go a second without talking to him, but you gave it a try.
"Love, what's wrong?"
After a long pause, you muttered,
"Can you just go..please."
You didn't wanna look at him. You just wanted to disappear. You felt like such a fool, because you always thought he liked you, but it seems that other girl has caught his attention now-or maybe he's just a player. No, he couldn't be..
"Please talk to me, it's not good to bottle up your feelings."
Newt stated, making himself comfortable next to you, he tried putting his arm around you, but you pushed it off. You scooted over a little bit, so you could fully view his face.
"Do you really want to shucking know? I like you Newt, okay? I really, really shucking like you. And it doesn't necessarily feel nice to watch some greenie kissing your cheek ok?! So if you like her please just-" he cut you off by smashing his lips into yours. His gently stroked his hands through your silky H/C hair, until you pushed him off, "Newt what are you-"
"I-I'm sorry." He looked away. "It's just that you're I just- it's just, I-I love you okay?" Newt said, blushing.
"I love you too." You said looking into his deep brown eyes.
"Now slim it and kiss me."
He blushed leaned in once again. You giggled at Newt's red cheeks and kissed him back.
