"Ah spider!" You cried and tumbled down to the floor, luckily Thomas broke the fall, crashing down on the floor with you.

After he steadied himself, he glared at you. "What?" You laughed nervously.
"You could've killed yourself up there!"
"But I didn't!"
"But you could've!"
"What is with you today??" "Nothing! If you weren't be so careless I wouldn't be like this!"
"I wasn't being careless I was--" "No y/n! I don't know about you, but I wanna get out of this shucking glade! We're in the maze to find a way out, NOT chase beetle blades! Get your act together!"
"Thomas!" You cried, tears streaming down your cheeks. "W-what is with you?.."

He looked sympathetic, but he just stood there.

"Don't ever talk to me again!"

You turned and ran towards the glade, not looking back.

"Y/N!" Thomas cried.
After you came out of the maze, you ran straight to the lookout tower.

"Y/N! Are you okay?" Gally asked, trying to grab your wrist, but you pulled away. "Yeah, just fine Gally. Please just let me be." "Y/N!"

You climbed up the ladder, trying to keep your balance as the pools in your eyes started to blur your vision.

You pulled your legs up to your chest and buried your face in them.

"Y/N, are you sure you're okay?"
"Gally! Please go!" You quickly glanced down at him and he looked worried.
"What happened?"
"Don't worry about it Gally, please."
"It's that shuckface Thomas isn't it?!"
You bursted out crying.
"N-no. Just drop it okay?"

Gally muttered something under his breath that you couldn't quite make out, then you heard someone running towards the watch tower.

"Is Y/N up there?" Gally just rolled his eyes at Thomas and walked off; purposely hitting Thomas with his shoulder. "Shank." He muttered.

Gally had always had a crush on you, it was pretty obvious, he was rude to everyone, but you.

"Y/N, I'm coming up okay?"
You ignored him.
You saw him climbing the ladder and you looked the opposite way.
"I told you to never talk to me again."
"That's not possible Y/N."
You rolled your eyes.
"I'm sorry, okay?"
"Yeah." You muttered under your breath.
"You don't understand Y/N, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to scream at you. I had no right to, especially over something so dumb. I'm aware you weren't hurt before, but you are now, and I need to fix it. So please let me."

Thomas nudged your chin with his finger so that you would look at him.

"I'm so sorry." He said tearing up.
He kissed you, but you didn't kiss back. "Please Y/N, I'll do anything." He said, now breaking down to tears.

It always made you weak to see him cry, he barely ever cries.
(Jk he cries so much in the book lolol)

"I forgive you Thomas."
His eyes fluttered up to your face and he kissed you again passionately; tasting the saltiness of his tears, you kissed back.
