Valentines Day // Newt

"Wake up love!"
Newt screams, showering you in kisses. "Newt, stoppp!" you whine, trying to push him away. "Who the shuck let you in here?" you question, eyes still closed. "Doesn't bloody matter, door doesn't have a lock so.." Newt trailed off, climbing onto your bed. "Y/N come on wake up!" Newt whined, entangling his fingers in your hair. "Your hair is really tangled." he states trying to brush the knots out with his fingers. "Yeah, that's because it's shucking early!" you yell, burying your head into the pillow. "It's bloody 10 o' clock! Please wake up!" You look up at him, he puffs out his bottom lip. "Argh fine!" You groan, sitting up on your bed. You fell asleep in your clothes last night so you didn't even bother getting dressed. "Now what?" You ask, studying Newt's face. "Well, I have to get off to work." Newt says, booping your nose. "Happy Valentines Day."
What? You thought. It was Valentines Day and he didn't even give you a least a peck on the lips. "Why'd you wake me up if you were-" you noticed Newt had already disappeared. Wow. You thought, kind of hurt.
You didn't see Newt for the rest of the day, and you were really confused. You asked all the Gladers and they had no idea where he was. You poked around the deadheads, that would be the last place to look, since you had already looked everywhere. "Newt!" You called, hoping for an answer. You walked further until there were a few trees surrounding a clear pathway. Strange..you thought, following the path. It led to a place that didn't seem to belong to the glade. There was lush green grass and huge bushes covered in flowers. This place is beautiful. You thought, examining the variety of plants surrounding you. You felt something being placed behind your ear. It felt like a flower. Newt? You turned around, and there stood Newt. "There you are!" You yelled, wrapping your arms around him.
He smiled. "Isn't it beautiful?" He asked. "It sure is! How'd you find it?" You asked curiously.
"It was before you came to the Glade." He explained. "I was bloody upset about something, so I wandered through the deadheads and found this place." He added, gesturing around him. "It wasn't like this though, I fixed it up; after I met you." You smiled, "Aww Newt, it's beautiful." You said as he planted a kiss into your lips. He then pulled away. "There's actually more. Happy Valentines Day." Newt grabbed your hand and pulled you close, kissing your forehead. He then showed you the rest of the place. It was filled with flowers and any other plant you could possibly think of. He also set up a little picnic under the shade. You sighed. "Newt, you are the most beautiful, amazing person in this entire world."
"Nah," he shook his head. "You are." He leaned in close, and attached his lips to yours, his hands brushed through your still tangled hair.
