"What happened? Aren't you cardinal bloods supposed to be fierce?" Wyatt asked, blood on the same knife that he used to stab Chase.
Isaac looked back at Wyatt, his fists tightened as he went on.
"Your friend died and all you do is cry? Is that all you do?" A much taller one walked up to Isaac.
Isaac's fists tightened more, to the point his nails dug deep into his palm and they started bleeding as he thought back about everything Chase did for him years ago just for his sake.
Chase wouldn't want him to just cry and let him die with him. Isaac gave one last look at Chase's dead(?) body before getting up."If you want to kill me, you're going to have to do it before I get to you first." Isaac announced, surprising some of the crimsons since they expected him to just back down after witnessing them kill (?) Chase.
Wyatt just laughed, along with the rest of the Crimsons.
"Are you threatening us right now?" He scoffed.
~
"Houston, while the cops make their way here I need you to record everything that happens when we go back to the valley." Layton told him.
By the time they had gotten there he realized that the lost of hope in his Isaac's eyes that he had earlier was now gone.. it was almost impressive since he no longer had fear, in fact he was angry, but the gang didn't seem to see him as a threat since they just laughed it off, the tallest one charged towards him only to get shock as Isaac kicked away the knife that was lunged his way. It almost looked like a movie when he used a 360 Crescent on the guy, despite the height difference he sent him flying to the ground with the kick. He dove for the knife at the same time Wyatt did, both of them tugging for the knife.
"I know the cops told me to just keep a distance and wait for them to come but I think I need to help that kid." Layton said.
"He seems to be doing well on his own." Houston couldn't help but comment, stuck in his own shock as Isaac had won the tug of war for the knife. Layton had to admit, this Isaac kid was way tougher than he thought he was, but regardless he was still in danger since there were like 5 of those guys, and he was only 1.
"Did you really think you were going to just walk away like nothing happened after what you did? Did you?!" Isaac shouted, before grabbed the knife and digging it deep into Wyatt's chest. Blood streamed out of Wyatt's mouth like a river as he laid on the ground unconscious, the rest of the crimsons stared in shock.
Without nobody including Layton noticing, Chase had woken up from his unconscious state and seen it all.
He smiled weakly, but proudly when he saw that Isaac out of rage had killed who he thought killed him.
"Holy fuck.. They weren't kidding when they said he was a Cardinal Blood." One of the Crimsons mumbled.
"Don't tell me you're scared, he's only one, get him."
"Atta kid." Chase mumbled. Isaac turned as he looked back at Chase.
"Chase?!" He ran up to Chase.
"Thank fucking god you're still alive!" He knelt beside him, unaware of the gang behind him.
"Isaac watch out!"
Isaac just stood in his place, refusing to move away.
"If you wanna hurt Chase, you're going to have to pass through me to do it."
The guy just bursted into laughter.
"Oh please."
"How about you all get lost? I don't want to fight kids."
Isaac turned around, his brows rose up in surprise when he realized that Layton was right there.
Layton? What the hell is he doing here?
He thought, still in front of Chase, protectively shielding him with his own body from harm. He refused to move from his spot.
"Who the hell are you?" Layton heard one of them asked.
"Who the hell cares, get him!"
Isaac shook his head.
"You're just going to get yourself killed."
"Don't underestimate me Mr. Gangster." Layton sassed. Isaac probably expected him to be a noob when it came to fighting, boy was he gonna prove him wrong.
