I followed the directions Isaac ran off to, leading to a house I guessed was where he lived. I saw an attractive young woman walk out of there before kissing the man I recognized as Isaac's dad.
"See you tomorrow." He mumbled as he groped her when they had one final kiss. I looked away, kinda wishing I didn't see all of that. I peeked through the window, cringing when I heard him start yelling super loudly through my right ear (doctors were fortunately able to recover my hearing from this ear). Since my left one lacked hearing, my right one made up for it and was sharp.
"So tell me right now why the hell you you ditched almost all your damn classes?!" He barked, grabbing Isaac's jacket.
"Because I wanted to, that's why!" He yelled back.
"I can't with you!" His dad gritted his teeth."What are you going to do? Hit me? Well go ahead and do that because at this point, I don't give a fuck!"
My heart stopped when his dad rose his hand and slapped him hard enough to send him flying to the floor. I didn't expect him to actually hit him. His father unsteadily made his way to Isaac, who had wiped some blood smeared on his jaw. He then kicked Isaac who was still on the floor, aiming at his jaw once more. He stopped though and then yanked his arm and had him get up. He had a close look at him.
"You know.. You grew out of that ugly fat phase of yours." He slurred, grabbing Isaac's face hard enough to leave red marks on it.
I felt sick to my stomach. I had a really bad feeling.
"You know what? I'll stop hitting you, if you do me a favor."He had a dark look on his face.
Oh no...
I knew where this was all possibly going.
"Get. The. Fuck. Away." Isaac warned.
His dad kept walking to Isaac, until he was cornered. Isaac looked terrified as well, as if aware of his drunk father's sick intentions. Without thinking twice he kicked him in the groin and punched him in the face, his dad roaring in pain and he ran upstairs.
"You piece of shit..." He groaned. "Don't think you're getting away though. Get back here you ungrateful brat!"
My heart raced, I had no idea what to do, but I had to do something and immediately.
I started pounding on the door, hoping it'd bring him downstairs.
"Open the damn door, Isaac!" His father threatened upstairs.
When a half deaf person can hear you, that's how you know you're being very loud.
He was pounding on the door for what seemed like forever, until he gave up and went downstairs and luckily opened the door.
"How may I help you?" The man asked.
This guy was so talented in disguising his personality.. if I didn't just witness all of that I probably would never known about his true colors.
"I-I...Uh.." My idiotic ass came unprepared.. so I had no idea what to say.
"I.. came for an interview." I finally spoke after a few seconds of thinking.
His drunk self raised a brow. "For what?"
"Don't you remember? You starred in one of the biggest movies of all time for this year!" God that was probably the dumbest thing I've ever said.. Or I thought.
"Oh really?" He scratched his head, thank god he was drunk because if he was sober-
"Yup! I can't wait to interview you." I forced a huge smile out of my face. Boy was it painful smiling for this sick idiot.
