"Darc... How could you?!'' I hissed when they dragged me all the way to the park.
''What? Did you think we did your makeup just so you can spend the rest of the day inside? No way.'' Darcy smiled.
''But Darcy.. Layton and Blake are coming to the park later on as well!!!"
So what? Who cares!" Darcy chirped.
''I do!! Never in a million years would Layton ever let me go out in something like this. He would kill me.''
''I'm sure he won't. Just focus on having fun okay?'' Darcy asked.
I just nodded. For weeks my friends have been trying to get me to wear 'cute stuff' for a while now and I'm finally am wearing them..
Was I happy to?
No.
But since I was at the park I might as well just try to have fun. My eyes widened when I realized Layton was right there in the bench with Blake.
Crap.
''Lets walk away..'' I whispered to my friends. We were about to, but Blake was quick to notice us. Both Blake and Layton looked really shocked when they looked at me.
''Aunt, is that you?'' he said as he ran over to us.
"Wow, you look really pretty Auntie Audrey! Doesn't she daddy?" Blake asked.
Layton looked like he could just lecture me then and there, but for Blake's sake he just nodded.
''Yes sport.'' he just said, although I knew deep inside he just wanted to have a long talk with me.
''Daddy can we get ice cream?'' Blake asked, smiling when Layton nodded and got up to walk with him to a nearby ice cream truck.
We continued walking, and talking about random things. It felt really weird for once getting attention when I passed by. I was just used to being mostly invisible to the human eye.
As we walked, I noticed a tall guy look at me with a smirk and we passed by him and his friends. "Damn...if need somewhere to sit I'm here for ya!" His friend hollered.
''I- I'm good.'' I just stuttered out. I felt hella uncomfortable..
"What the hell is his problem?" I mumbled.
"I mean.. He's cute." Darcy said.
"And.. Literally twice my age.. what the hell." I said. Was this the kind of treatment girls got when they to look good for once? I just kept walking.. Stopping when one of them walked up to us.. Way too close for my comfort.
"Dayumn what is up-up-up, sweet angel from heaven!" He slurred, almost tripping over. I thought it was sorta funny until he grabbed my arm.
"Hey leave her alone you ugly old hag!" Darcy shouted.
"Yeahh.. feisty, that's how I like em. You know the way to my heart." He winked and flashed his disgusting yellow teeth.
We were struggling with these men, until a taller dude had walked over to us."Excuse you, but how about you leave these gals alone?"
Jonas.
I sorta just held onto Darcy.. Heart beating out of my chest.
"Come on, these chicks are practically asking for it. Look at this bitch's shorts, you can practically see her asscheeks!" He said as he pointed at me.
"That's no fucking reason to go harassing them!" He said, I could tell he was getting more pissed with them.
"Yeah you don't just go around touching girls like that!" One of the other ones had said. The creepy man walked up to them.
"What'd ya say kid?!"
The boy took out a knife."Look, I'm not fucking playin' with you! Get your desperate asses outta here before I slit those throats of yours." They started backing away.
"Okay, okay. No need to get all crazy." The drunk one chuckled.. Clearly afraid though. They started leaving.
"Jonas.." I breathed, running after him when he started to leave.
"Thanks so much.." I cried out, my arms wrapping around him before I can realize what I'm doing. My body was still shaken up after what happened.
He didn't really hug back... just give me an awkward pat on the back.
"Dang..." A form smirks on Darcy's face as she looks at Jonas.
"You can save me any day of the week." Darcy purred.
"Darcy!" I scolded her.
"What?" She asked innocently. Luckily Jonas and the other kid just laughed.
"Maybe I will." Jonas returned the smirk, causing Darcy to smile.
"Anyway no problem.." He said as he looked back at me. "I mean, I guess Isaac wouldn't some weird asses bothering you." I was starting to think maybe Jonas didn't hate me as much as I thought.
"You should be more careful.. Its pretty dangerous out here." He added with a shrug.
I nodded.
''Anyway you look.. A little different than before.'' Jonas said as he looked me up and down. "In a good way though." He added with a wink, I gave him a small smile.
''Obviously!'' Michelle jumped in. ''We need to make her nice and pretty for-" I clamped a hand over her mouth.
''Anyway thanks Jonas and-"
''Ryan.'' The other boy said. I nodded.
''Thank you so much guys but we need to go.'' I stopped when I heard Ryan call someone.
''Yo, what's good Robinson?"
I turned my head to look back at the girls... But every single of of them were gone.. Accept for Jenna.
I lock my arm with Jenna's before she could flee. ''Oh no you don't!'' I exclaimed.
''Where'd everyone else go?''
''Beats me.'' She shrugged.
I looked at the boys. ''Are they still there?''
Jenna nodded.
''What about Isaac? What's he doing?''
''Skateboarding. And doing some really cool ass tricks.''
I breathed out before turning back around to face them. Isaac was skateboarding around, the craziest thing was that he wasn't wearing any helmet.
I noticed Ryan gesture his face towards me as he talked to Isaac. When Isaac looked at me it was like he lost control of the skateboard.
When he was about to fall out of the skateboard, I ran to him and caught him on time, my heart rate increasing as I noticed how close we were..
