''Hi Blake!'' Darcy smiled at Blake as we walked inside of my house.
Blake was playing with his toy truck, stopping when he saw us.
He smiled.
''Hi Aunt, hi Darcy.''
Darcy smiled as she picked up the boy and spun him around, the boy giggling.
''Hi Blakey wakey.' she cooed in a baby voice.
She absolutely loved Blake. Since she didn't have any siblings, she loved playing with him whenever she came over.
''How old are you turning next week?''
''7.'' Blake answered, a proud smile on his face.
As soon as she put him down, Blake runs of somewhere, a few seconds coming back.
"I got you this.'' he said, handing her a daisy he got from the garden.
It was pretty obvious the little guy had an innocent crush on Darcy.
She gasped and smiled as she took it.
''Wow, it's so pretty. I love it, thank you Blake.'' she said before giving him a kiss on the forehead.
Blake smiled widely. I playfully crossed my arms.
''What about me?'' I joke.
''Come here you little rascal.'' I say as I start attacking him with tickles.
He giggles and wiggled around as I tickled him. Darcy started calling someone with her phone.
''Who are you calling?'' I asked.
''Michelle.'' She said, before she walked away and started calling her.
I ruffle Blake's hair before I followed her.
''Yes dude. This is URGENT. I'll explain once you get here. I still need to call Jenna and Hazel. See you!'' she hung up.
''What are you scheming?'' I ask, eyebrow raised.
''You'll see.'' she smiled.
~
''Hey you guys.'' Darcy welcomed as Michelle and Hazel walked through the door.
''And Jenna?'' Darcy wondered since Jenna wasn't here yet.
''Must be practicing basketball or something." Michelle said.
''But she said she'd be here soon.''
Just a few seconds later, the doorbell rang.
''Oh, must be her.'' I went downstairs to open the door.
''Hey, Audrey. Sorry I'm late.''
She walked inside with everyone else.
''So what's up?'' she said.''Audrey, that's what's up.'' Darcy said.
''She made out with Isaac.''
Jenna almost choked on her energy drink.''Isaac? Robinson?''
Darcy nodded, a squeal escaping her throat.
''Darcy, stop.'' I whisper shouted at her.
''Relax, they'll help us out.'' She reassured me.
"He was drunk okay?" I argued as I looked at our friends.
"I heard that guys in a gang.." Jenna mumbled, a few moments later stuffing her face with chips.
I nodded. "He is."
"You should be careful with him." She advised, Darcy shaking her head.
"Audrey helped him, remember I told you? They're basically friends now!"
