"Relax.. You can do this." I told myself as I stared at my reflection in the mirror. I stared hard at my reflection, trying to keep a straight face on, soon breaking character. Despite the fact its been almost 5 months since high school started, I still felt nervous going.

I tye my hair in ponytail, and sorta just messed around while looking at the mirror, making weird facial expressions. I was so distracted being a dork I jumped startled when the door slammed open.

"Audrey!! Are you ready?" I heard a young voice ask me.

"Almost! I need to brush my teeth." I quickly rushed to the bathroom and brushed my teeth.

When I finished, Blake and I climbed onto Layton's car after breakfast. My parents were already at work, and so was Martha, Layton's wife so Layton was the one who drove us to school.

I dozed off as I stared at the view through the car window, my thoughts suddenly going to that boy named Iaaac.

Where is he now? I couldn't help but wonder as I thought about him, my heart racing for some reason as I did. Despite hardly knowing him part of me missed him. I don't know why I'm suddenly thinking so much about him when it's almost been 2 months since I last saw him.. He has probably forgotten about me by now.

"Bye!!" Blake gave me a warm smile as he leaped out of the car once Layton got to his school. I smiled and waved at him.

"Bye, behave yourself!" Layton and I happened to say at the same time. It was sorta creepy, but cool in a way as well. I let out a soft sigh as Layton made a turn and we stopped for the red light. I wasn't all that eager to get to school, especially cus the last few months haven't been the best, but well school was the only way to success right?

Once we got to Riddleway High, my school, I waved goodbye at Layton as I hopped out of the car.

"Have fun, and don't do anything stupid." Layton grinned before rolling down the car window and driving away.

I walked inside the school's entrance, feeling my heart race a little when I noticed stares.

"Audrey! Over here!" I heard a familiar voice call from the other side of the hallway. I turned and started walking to Darcy, somewhat fast and I ended up crashing with Clarissa.

"Hey, watch where you're going! These clothes of mine cost a fortune. Unlike your hideous rags you got there."

"Excuse you?!" Darcy snapped as she walked over to us, glaring hard at Clarissa.

"Just let her be Darc." I told her softly.

"Yeah Darc, just let her be." One of Clarissa's friends told Darcy, mocking my soft tone.

"Ooh." Darcy growled.

Her fists clenched as we continued to walk."How could you put up with this dumb blonde? She's the absolute worst. She's been pestering you for like forever." Darcy said as we walked to our first class.

Even though Darcy was right because I have dealt with A LOT of bullying from Clarissa for as long as I could remember, she wasn't worth fighting. I'd rather just be the bigger person and ignore her, along with other people's teasing. Anyway would she, or anyone else who's ever been mean ever stop either way?

"Look, let's just forget about her and just get to our class. We're almost late."

"It's not my fault we got one of the farthest classes ever." Darcy laughed.

"True," I admitted, since.. well our first class was pretty far.

It was in the T building, and it took approximately 10 minutes to get from the B building (where we were right now) to the T building.
