"Isaac, where the fuck do you think you're going?!" I heard my dad yell when I walked inside of the house.
It's been a few months since my first day of highschool started.
It also happened to be midnight.
I drunkenly returned back home after going to some party with Jonas, who had convinced me to do so with our homeboys. I don't remember much besides the fact that I got high and wasted as fuck in that party. Did I regret it? Hell nah.
At least I got away from my usual emotions and problems. My memory was super shitty, but I think I recall my dad yelling at me and possibly hitting me?? I don't know, next thing I know I just remember waking up the next day in a stranger's house.. I woke up to a girl's hazel eyes staring into my own eyes.

A few days later
"Relax Audrey, this is gonna be so much fun!" My best friend Darcy reassured me as she scanned at all the dresses around us in the mall.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes a bit.
"Can you just pick your dress already? We've been here for hours now! Any of them will look fine on you." One of our other friends Michelle spoke up.
"I'm going I'm going! Wait up!" She beamed as she finally found one she liked.
"Oh my gosh its so cute!!!" She squealed as she grabbed onto the hanger.
"Aw look at the cute sparkly bow it has!!!" She gushed as she stared at the dress.
"And look, it even has matching heels to go with them! I'm putting this on right now!!" She ran into one of the changing rooms, Michelle and I smiled and gasped when she walked out after a few min.
"You look great!!" I praised, and it really did.
Darcy smiled and started sashaying around for us a bit like a model, putting her hands on her hips as she looked at one of the mirrors.
"Are you guys sure? Now that I see it, I actually think this dress makes me look kinda fat."
"Dude, shut up!!"
We laughed as we dragged her back to the changing room to change out of her dress. Honestly, Darc was definitely the opposite of fat.
Yes, I suppose she had a little extra weight on her, but on the right places so it distributed perfectly. She had everything pretty much a lot of girls might want, wide hips, and curves.
Sometimes I wish I had her body, honestly. In my opinion, I'm all skin and bones. I know because that was always the punchline when it came to jokes people made about me. Yeah I was skinny, and no I didn't starve myself. It ran in my family, I don't think there isn't a single person in my family that isn't skinny.
"So Audrey, are you gonna get a dress?" Darcy asked when she came out, the dress in one of the bags the cashier gave her when she bought the dress.
I shook my head. "You know I just came here for you."
"Awe come on Audrey, I really wouldn't mind helping you look extra cute for the-"
"Darcy!" I chuckled a little. "Let's just go, the party starts in an hour!"
"She's right, Darc. Let's go!" Michelle said.
I smiled and shook my head as I followed behind them. Honestly, I'm not a party type of girl.
I'm more of that girl that likes to spend the days hidden in my room just reading in an empty space and taking long naps when I'm not doing something like studying.
Pretty nerdy, I know right?
People at school love teasing me about it all the time, but I honestly don't mind.
Darcy really wanted me to go to our classmate's party so I finally gave in. I looked down at my phone and scrolled on Instagram as I walked and ended up crashing into someone.
"Yo there, watch it." The boy I had crashed into said, chuckling so he was mostly not too upset as far as I could tell.
I looked up at him.
He was a very few inches away from being 6 feet which was really tall in comparison to me. He had friendly looking big green eyes that looked at me as I spoke. He had a maroon red bandana wrapped around his forehead and wore a leather black jacket.
"O-oh. Sorry." I said, as I watched him continue walking to another guy who I'm sure I heard his voice yell, "Jonas, over here!" His name, I'm assuming.
I continued to walk, feeling some hands drag me out of the mall.
"Dudeeeee, who was he? He was so cute!!" Darcy said.
Michelle scoffed.
"Is there ever gonna be a single time where you won't drool over every single random guy you see?"
"Oh come on he's cute, and you know it." Darcy had a smug on her face as we started walking to my house.
"Don't you think Audrey?"
"Well sure, but I don't know.. he makes me feel uneasy."
I said as I turned as saw the boy himself walking out of the mall, with more boys. They were all pretty scary looking, especially all together.
"I'm gonna ask for his number." Darcy smirked, and started to turn towards them. I grabbed her arm.
"I don't think that's a good idea, Darc." I said as I noticed the Jonas boy sneak some small bag out of his pocket before handing it to another kid who in exchanged gave him money.
It didn't take too much thinking to know what was going on.
"Anyway, I think we should stay heading home." I told my friends as I looked back at them.
Michelle nodded.
"Let's go."
I don't know if this was even a good idea but oh what the heck. It won't be too bad, at least hopefully.
