The next day
Surprisingly, Layton didn't say anything once we got home.. We all just ate dinner quietly and that was it.
It's pretty relieving but has me wondering if he was planning on saying something later on.
I hope not.
Going to the mirror was the first thing I did when I woke up.
I tried remembering the tips Hazel gave me.
As soon as I was done curling my hair, I went downstairs.
I noticed how the table was mostly empty, accept for Blake who was sitting in the table.
"Daddy, grandpa and grandma already went to work." He explained.
"And you look so pretty!"
I smile at Blake.
"Thank you, sport." I said as I ruffled his hair as I passed by him, taking out a carton of milk and opening it to spill it into ours bowls of cereal.
"Did you do your homework Blakey?"
Blake nodded.
"Yes." He eat a spoon of cereal.
When we finished eating, I got into our car, letting Blake borrow my phone for music while Houston drove us home.

I hopped off the car as soon as we got to my school, taking a deep breath in as I walked into the building.
Relax.. Audrey... You got this.
I told myself as I walked inside, immediately noticing looks I was getting from people as I walked in.
"Hey, Audrey!!" I heard Michelle and Hazel say.
"Where's Darcy?" Hazel asked.
"Haven't you heard? She got suspended because of the fight she had with Clarissa." Jenna said as she walked over to us.
"Speaking of Clarissa." Michelle gestured towards Clarissa who just smiled as all the guys smirked at her as she passed by them.
"What do they see in her?" Michelle said.
"I mean.. She's hot to be honest." Jenna shrugged.
"Hot? Look how fucked up Darcy left her." Michelle laughed.
We started heading to class as soon as the bell rang for 1st period, I ended up bumping into someone.
"Hey watch where you're- Oh.. Hello there."
Leo flashed a smile."Hold up, isn't she the same girl that Isaac fought you for?" I heard one of Leo's friends ask him.
Leo looked at me and his eyes widened a bit.
"Oh shit.. It is."
He smiled as he looked back at me.
"Damn, you look hot today."
I rolled my eyes.
That wasn't what he was saying a few days ago.. but okay.
"You want me to carry your backpack for you?" He winked.
"Uh.. No thanks." I said.
"You sure?" He asked.
"Uh.. Yeah..." I nod.
When Leo walked away, my friends walked up to me.
"Oh my god he's so hot." Ruby, one of my classmates gushed to her friend.
"Don't you think so?" She asked us.
"I guess so." Michelle said.
As all the girls walked up to him and he flirted with them, Michelle shook her head.
"I've heard Leo's a huge player. He's gotten a lot of girls, even girls outside of his grade like juniors." Michelle said as she opened her locker.
"Really? I thought he was dating Clarissa." Jenna mumbled before drinking her bottle of water.
"Oh they are. The thing is both of them like messing around with other people.. I guess you can say they're each others main hoes."
Jenna spat out her water and coughed as she started laughing.
"What? It's true." Michelle smiled.
"I feel bad for the girls who get played by Leo though.. I heard one of the girls he slept with got pregnant.. And her parents kicked her out of the house."
"That's really sad." I say.
Now I knew to keep away from Leo at all costs.
We went inside of our class.
I sat down and did my work.
I looked up when I heard the door open.
It was Clarissa, which was no surprise. That girl was always coming late to class.
She just didn't care.
"Hey babe.." She smirked as she sat in Leo's lap and started straight up making out with him.
Mrs. Smith cleared her throat.
"Leo, Clarissa, save that for later. This is a learning environment; a very inappropriate place to be doing things like this."
She caressed his cheek and smiled before walking back to her desk.
I sighed and continued doing my work, until Leo walked to my desk.
What did he want now?
