I let out a soft sigh as I washed the dishes I ate from.

Was it even a good idea to come here?

I rolled my sleeves up, unfazed at the sight of some cuts on my wrist.

I cursed when I realized one of the cuts still weren't dry, a few drops of blood leaked down my arm and onto the floor.

I quickly bent down to clean it up, feeling something crash into me as I did so.

I caught myself from falling, looking back at the kid, Blake.

"Sorry. I'm just really bored so I came to play with Aunt Audrey. Where is she?"

"Doing a project." I replied, still wiping the floor until every single inch was clean. I threw the paper towel in the trash dispenser once I was finished, washing my hands and lifting down my sleeves.

"Aww she's always busy with homework!" He frowned.

"School can eat my ass." I mumbled, as I put the dish were it belonged.

"Yeah." That little kid nodded.

"School can eat my ass too!"

I scoffed a bit.

"Do you even know what that means?" I asked him.

He shook his head.

"But you're pretty scary with people you don't like, plus.. you cuss! That's so cool, because my dad told me only grownups can cuss."

"Alright, your point?" I shoved my hands in my pockets.

"That doesn't include me, only kids like you."

Blake titled his head.

"You don't look like a grownup, though. You look like you're my aunt's age and-"

"Alright alright enough, Blake. I get it."

"Wow!! Are those real tattoos?!" He said, all of a sudden looking really interested on my tattoos.

People say I have way more than any person my age should be allowed to have, but whatever, my tattoo artist who happened to be my friend and run a tattoo shop, didn't have a problem with it.

Either way I'm turning 15 in a few weeks either way, no big deal. Kids at these age are already doing way worse than having some little drawings on their bodies.

"Yup. But forget about that, why don't you go play or something?" I groaned before taking my arm back.

"Can you take me to the park? Please please?!" The little boy begged.

"Didn't your dad offer to take you to Toy-"

"Please?!" He interrupted.

I let out a loud sigh. "Fine, if it'll get you to quit pestering me."

He beamed.

"Yay!"

"But we should let your aunt know where we're going first, though." I headed out of the kitchen, getting lost as soon as I was outta there.

Da fuck.

The whole place was huge as fuck.

"It's okay, uncle. We don't need to tell her."

"Will you quit calling me uncle, kid? I'm not your fucking uncle." I say to the kid, narrowing my eyes at him.

"Language please." Blake said in a deeper voice, I'm guessing imitating his dad or something.

"Oh boy." I rolled my eyes.

"I'll take you to her room." Blake said, before grabbing my hand and leading me upstairs. When we got to her room, I was about to knock until Blake just went inside.

"Hi Josh!" Blake greeted Audrey's friend, who was writing down notes as the two were mixing up different chemicals. That sorta crap.

"You should try combining Hydrogen Peroxide and Potassium Iodide. It'll give you some crazy reaction." I suggested.

They both turned to look at me.

"Hey, Isaac." Audrey smiles.

"I had no idea you were good at chemistry."

She says, her eyes widening a little when the guy was making all these hand gestures and she gave him a glare. She gave him a light shove before looking back at me.

"Well, whatever. I ain't all that dumb."

"Audrey! Can we go to the park?" Blake asked.

"Well.." She looked back at the friend and their project.

"Sure." She agreed.

"But please... Stay with your unc- Isaac." Her face turned a dark shade of red.

Blake giggles and nods.

Sweet.

Nothing better than spending the whole day with this kid, again.
