Counting Wolves

Wither's pack has been having an increase of puppies born and they grow fast, just over the few months the pack tripled in size and now there are over 50 of them. Wither still hangs out with his female direwolf mate and WhipLash has been gone with his new family. Harold suggested putting some down but that was not going to happen, each wolf in that pack was a descendent of Zulu or the parents of those pups, putting down was not an option for me. Instead, I decided to release around 35 of them to the wild, 10 wolves in the same area near Argrorath and the rest were released further out in numbers of five around the mountain range.

Icilyn and her pups with Zulu were released with the 10 wolves and the two leaders of that pack was King, her son and Diablo, his son. Diablo is aggressive and a mutation bred into the pack, we actually have plenty of mutations bred into the pack. Diablo has grown larger than Zulu himself and he has a powerful bite like Zula does, him and Zula have become mates in their new home but with no pups of their own yet.

The rest of the wolves were either adopted out of were left on Ghost Wolf Island but were neutered. Some wolves did indeed have to be put down but only around 6 of them. The wolves were also put under protection. I really do love seeing how this is going for us, we are building a great home here.

I can't believe it! After all this time, I found another note of the person who inspired me to write these in the first place, Mei-Yin Li, I found it while checking on the wild pack. Mei- Yin spoke about the legion again, saying that the beast queen would vanquish their leader. I wonder if she is still out there, I have no clue when these notes were written but if I'm ever able to meet the beast queen, then I would be greatly honored.
