The Serial Killer revealed

With the arrival of the children, everyone has been on high alert, no one wants the kids to come to any harm, including from the serial killer, there has been no deaths so far but Regal and Ricky are ready to put an end to it once and for all. They introduced Wither's sister, Zula; to the field since she is one of the top hunters we have on our lands, with her, we have the flyers, dogs on the ground and watchers in the trees, they are putting all efforts into this. The boys have been hunting the Karakul as practice in the farm lands since they are no longer allowed into the field at the moment.

How could you know someone to be so nice, so protective to turn into a stone-cold monster, it's all too common but still hard to believe. That sad turn of events happened to someone I respected, Jaecer just happens to be this person and the person we've been looking for, behind the deaths of farmhands.

With the growing security around the area, Jaecer was pushed into the edge, with nowhere to go, nowhere to run. He was going to get caught sooner or later but he decided he wanted to go out with a bang, hit hard one last time.

The kids were playing outside like usual, annoying the farmhands and keeping everyone alert with watching over them. I really wasn't seeing much of Regal either, he's been working hard lately, would even be out most nights keeping guard. It was the afternoon when Diltion came up to me with a worried expression, I could tell he was going to be a bearer of bad news and he was. He came to alert me that after doing a head count, he realized that my boys, Dylann and Arron were missing. With all the guards out on patrol, I wasn't too worried, I assumed they went out to find Regal or something but I wanted to go out just in case and bring them back. My first idea was to check with Regal to see if they did indeed go to him. Keith directed me to him and all we found was an exhausted looking Regal leaned up against an equally exhausted Rumble; the news about the boys being missing sure did wake him up though, he kind of took it on Diltion at first before realizing arguing wouldn't be bringing them back. He called everyone to search the nearest areas of the village.

I went to look myself with WhipLash and Wither, found fresh tracks, it was messy though and I couldn't tell who it was left by so we followed them. I was sure it would lead us to Dylann and Arron, one way or another. We have only been tracking for a few moments when I heard the shocking cries of Whiplash, when I looked up, he was a ball of fire crashing to the ground. He was still shirking in agonizing pain when he landed. Wither quickly went after to help his brother and I followed right behind him, covering the poor bird in snow trying to put out his flame, only then did I notice Dylann and Arron, tied to a tree, unconscious, hoping they were unconscious, after making sure WhipLash was alive, I ordered Wither to go get Regal before approaching the two and luckily, they were indeed unconscious with that knowledge, I started to frankly untie them before hearing an all too familiar voice behind me, it was familiar but at the same time, so empty and cold, I turned to face Jaecer and even though I wanted to be surprised, I was more focused on protecting the children I have accepted into my life. He talked all about how it was him doing all the killings, boasting about it but I guess he saw I wasn't really amused, that's when he said something that broke my heart, quote "I warned you I would have him mounted and I did just that" he said with a wink. I didn't really understand what he meant by that until I realized he meant Zulu, he killed Zulu. I didn't know how to feel at that moment but then he shot another arrow, I thought at me before seeing that nothing had hit me, then I heard the muffle screams of the kids behind me, he set their tree on fire. I was about to try to help them but Jaecer had grabbed hold to me, saying "Watch them die, like I did with Eita"; I've only known those boys for a week or so but I still couldn't imagine to see them killed, they were mines to protect. I tried fighting Jaecer off of me, it was a tough struggle, one I truly didn't have time for. He was able to get on top fairly quickly, pinning me down, keeping my face towards the two kids who were already being caught on the flames. I couldn't watch that. Almost like a miracle, Wither came in a heap of fury, attacking Jaecer and as soon as he was off, I freed Dylann and Alex came over freeing Arron, helping them get from the flames. When Regal came over, you could tell he was heartbroken with what he saw, his mentor, his friend, the one he looked up too was the one to murder his people and attempted to harm the children he plays a father figure too.

Jaecer tried talking Regal down but he kept his cool, making sure everyone was okay, WhipLash was the one with the worse injuries, Dylann had his back burned and Arron, his arm. They were wrapped in covers and taken to the waiting birds. Regal refused to let Knox and Elias handle this, he took the punishment into his own hands. I don't know or care about what he did to Jaecer, I'm glad that we no longer have to deal with that, I'm happy with the fact that the boys are fine and WhipLash seems to be making a recovery. Regal, finding some sort of peace in this has been spending more time with us, you could see that there is some type of sorrow in him but he gulps it down and focuses on what really matters.

Now that horrible era of our lives is over, goodbye Jaecer and a proper, Rest In Peace to a loyal direwolf named Zulu, you were the best pet and teammate I've ever come to known.
