A Defender In The Sky
After the outburst of Jaecer, the tribe mates made Whiplash a catwalk on top of my house that could be used as a perch, apologizing on Jaecer's behalf. They are great people.

I wasn't expecting this honestly. Jaecer has left the tribe. Elias told me this morning. Jaecer was such a loyal member of the tribe. I knew people grieved differently but Jaecer was going through a downwards spiral. I can't worry about that now though. I had to fix the argent issues.

I took Whiplash out that day with the tribesmen. Once we were a safe distance away from the village, we dropped piles of rotten animal bodies to attract the argents. After the flock made their way to our trap. The tribesmen shot their arrows and took out three. I signaled Whiplash to attack the other, he eventually killed it. The other two were hit with bolas before being knocked unconscious. We discussed what to do with them. In the end we decided to train them as outlook birds.
They are two females and proved to be more territorial and aggressive than Whiplash. When they were finally tamed. We made an outlook tower in the middle of the farmlands.
A lookout person was placed there, his name is Eric and he commanded the birds in the sky. They were supposed to attack anything they see as a threat to our workers and livestock.
The karakul were placed back into the fields, thrilled to finally be out of that barn. We also decided to make an actual Arena to hold animals that we were looking to tame in, instead of any building that was available. This was going well. We are expanding our home.
