Roaming Free

As the one who tamed these animals, I have to continuously check in with the animals that wander freely in the wild. They seem to be doing fine all on their own but its better safe than sorry to leave them out there without monitoring.

Entry#2

First one to check is Kathy's herd and the small group of people who became wanders with them. Kathy's son is no longer with the herd so I can assume he has become a bachelor. I tried tracking him down but he was nowhere to be found, I can only hope he still alive out there with a group of bachelors. The group there said they can't even place tents in the snow because it wears down quickly, because of this; they must rely on the giant ground sloths for protection against the harsh weather climates. Kathy has had twins and they are already adolescents, two pure white females who are extremely playful. Kathy and her female dominate herd seems to be doing well for themselves. I discovered the body of a dead carno, so it seems predators aren't a problem.

Entry#3

After checking with the ground sloths, I'm actually pretty pleased on how well they have been doing for themselves. It is now time to check the newly created wolf pack controlled by Diablo and King.

The wild pack here has had a lot of pups born in the short time they have been here and I hate to say it but Harold may have been right about them needed to get hunted. They are experienced wolves with nothing but starvation to lower their numbers, their offspring are becoming feral and dangerous, their population has grown so much that there is fighting amongst them and multiple lead wolves. Not only is them bad for them, if their population continues to spread it will be bad for us. I will allow Harold to start the hunt on the wolves as long as he makes sure that Diablo, King, Iclyn, Azula will be protected.

They must at least try to only hunt the feral ones and not ones that are still mostly tamed.

I hate to allow these wolves to be hunted but this seems like the best option for everyone involved. On a better note, Wither was happy to see his mother and siblings once again, he was such a puppy when he saw Iclyn, it was adorable.

Entry#4

Checking on the direwolves really did kick down the notch of excitement I had seeing how the tames in the wild are doing but still, I have hope for everything but time to set those plans for later, now I have to check on the two yutyrannus.

BlueTooth and Courage have been exploring their large territory. They've seemed to be scouting the titanic lizard, almost like they want to attack her but they couldn't possibly try, they are barely the size of her foot but the way they were huffing and growling, I could only imagine they do indeed plan on attacking her. I'm going to move them so that disastrous plan doesn't go through.

Entry#5

BlueTooth and Courage are now coming with me to finish the final check, which is on the mammoths. BlueTooth and Courage seem to have gotten very close to one another during their small time together.

The mammoth's lives seem peaceful, Odin though seems to have problems with his age, which is odd because I haven't noticed health problems such as illness in animals because of aging, so for Odin to be moving so sluggishly and has problems seems out of the ordinary for this world. Odin has two sons who are still babies so it isn't all bad for him, especially with General being the lead bull, its lucky for Odin to get any cows to breed with him without any struggle of rejection. General suffers no problems when getting females to bear his offspring, older females may be a bit moody but they usually accept. It's always the younger, unbred females that give the bulls problems but with older cows teaching them, they learn quickly.

Something has been keeping the mammoths from the pond, it's a pond, mostly filled with ice, which isn't that surprising but it does make it hard to see what may be in there, maybe it's another water reptile but it doesn't seem to harm the mammoths that much, they are smart learners and makes no mistakes on their survival.

Entry#6

We have found a place for the two yutyrannus to live happily, it's a beach area that connects with the snowy forest which has a variety of animals for their taste. They are now trying their hand at fishing, they actually seem to be good at it. I'm no expert on dinosaur diets but the creatures here seem to have no real diet besides being an herbivore or carnivore.

Entry#7

Nothing is ever dull in the snow mountain region, we now have another Yutyrannus in our clan and a few carnos. One of my favorite carnos is a male named Buck, he has crossed eyes, white with black stripes. He's so dorky, I love him. He was part of Sugartooth's pack, SugarTooth being the Yuty who tried attacking us while Blue and Courage were fishing, he was an easy take down and since none of his carnos were killed during the attack, he was tamed right after Courage left him, sparing his life. Sugartooth is the most adorable thing, he seems more submissive than the other two males.

I actually thought male yutyrannus wouldn't get along that well but it seems that they do well together once the dominate one between them is chosen, the dominate one here is Courage, for now anyways.

Entry#8

I thought moving the yutyrannus would get their minds off of the titanic saurus but it didn't, when I did another round of checking on the animals, the three yutyrannus and the carnos were circling her again and this time, she took notice; she stomped her feet and let out a bellowing roar that shook the atmosphere. That was enough for the pack to back off and leave her, for now. I don't know what Courage has in mind but I'm sure he will act upon it soon. They returned to their beach lair on their own without me having to direct them.
