Navena, a new survivor

Introduction

Navena awoken from a sleep, was it a sleep? She wasn't exactly too sure but she was just opening her eyes and felt tired, dizzy and hungry. As she felt a sudden sting in her arm, her first thought was to scratch it but noticed a weird thing stuck in her arm. She cringed at it but payed it no mind when she realized she was freezing cold. She looked around to see piles of snow and her naked besides underwear, getting up to her feet, she looked around to see fencing in the distance, more humans of course who could probably provide better clothing in this strange place.

She began to march through the deep snow before hearing howling, wolves, she turned behind her to see that they were indeed wolves but much bigger than the ones back at home. They were pretty fast too and some how, some way, she found the will power to book it through the snow and to the village. She continued running before tripping on a branch she didn't even notice before because it was covered in snow. The wolves continued rushing before one proceeded to leap into the air to pounce onto her but instead, it was hit in the head by an arrow and shot mid air, instant death.

The humans of the village, yelling and shouting while waving bolas in the air attacked the wolves but these wolves, unlike the ones at home, didn't stop the chase, they continued the pursuit and fought without fear. All members of the pack were killed, except for one that ended up limping away after getting a bad arrow stuck to its side.

The other survivors helped Navena and after a brief conversation, they explained no one knew how they got here or why but they found each other and created this village for safety. They clothed her, fed her and welcomed her in without problems.

The village was here for a while, a long while. They created their own sheep breed from generations of ovis, called Karakul. They had dark red wool, black horns for males and black markings around their eyes. They even created a pack of domesticated dire wolves, that were called Greenland dogs. They mostly consisted of white and black fur but some of them were pure white. They looked very much like wolves.

They were bred specifically to benefit humans in some ways. The karakul were bred for thick wool that was very resistant to water so when it would rain, it wouldn't freeze onto the people wearing their wool.

The GreenLand dogs were bred for protection but also making sure they were safe enough for people to be around and also safely transfer items around. They were also bred to help on hunting trips.

It looks like they were trying to create a world they once knew.

Navena became close to some people of the tribe, rather quickly. They were: Chief Elias, who was the leader of the group. A kind, older man who kept things in order. A young hunter named Eita, his older brother named Jaecer who were one of the men protecting this village and a young warrior wannabe named Garvas.

After a few days of helping with farm work, Eita and Garvas approached Navena to go exploring. She agreed but as long as Jaecer came along. They brought their dogs and attached them to the sleigh before mushing out of the village.

Animals populated the snow region heavily and during their wandering, Jaecer and Eita shot many of the big toothed cats, recognized as Sabertooths but there was one animal that stood out the most, a big black direwolf with blue eyes, he was already injured, actually seemed to be the one that was spared by the tribe members after attacking Navena, he didn't attack, he left quickly, learnt his lesson.

After few more distance of traveling, they came across a broken down monument and got off their mounts to search it. Navena found a written page, hidden in a chest by someone named "Mei Yin Li". Navena sat down to quickly scheme through the note. It told how Mei Yin Li was fighting with a group of people called the "new Legion" and how the "demon king" flew into a rage, her beast were exhausted, someone named Wuzhui was there by her side? It was confusing but Navena was able to understand that this woman, tamed beast and was fighting a battle of some sort, she wondered if this woman was still out there.

After returning home from the trip, Navena re-read the note and thought about it hard, the pillar of light, she has seen it before. She got up from her bed and looked out the window, there it was. She looked back at the note and an idea came to her mind, she was going to tame her own wild beast and just like Mei Lin, she was going to write her story.
