The Fall Of A Warrior
I don't even know where to start with this one. I don't know how to write this so I'll put it blatantly, Eita has passed, he died last night due to his injuries, the snow storm we had that night didn't make it any easier. He died with Jaecer comforting him until he closed his eyes for good.
Jaecer has been distant and aggressive since, everyone would stay away from him, fearing him. That wasn't how reactions would usually be towards Jaecer, they were usually welcoming, everyone loved him but I soon found out why people decided to keep their distance. After I approached Jaecer, trying to offer him friendly support, he snapped at me, saying words I don't wish to repeat. I felt bad for him, losing a brother isn't easy.
As for Zulu, he has gotten better over time. He would stare out the window, just watching people and dogs go by, I take him on walks every once in awhile to give him exercise. He's doing better, I'm grateful to not have lost him.
The village has been on edge since the incident, the giant vultures could smell death and despair. They have began to circle the village, looking for easy picking, some were shot in the air by tribe guards and had their bodies thrown over a cliff to not attract more of them.
I would wake up some nights to Zulu snarling at them.
