The True Beast
Today is a day of more bad news and more darkness in our mountains.
Zulu and I woke up this morning to the angry shouts of the tribes people as they were distressing over something. As I went to find Elias, I soon found out that it was more serious than I originally thought.
Regal, Knox and Ricky were all there with Elias and the rest of the guards discussing something in the town hall. There were guards outside the town hall, making sure no one got in.
When I entered the building, everyone was so deep into conversation that they didn't notice me until I approached the table, even then, the only reaction I got was Regal looking back at me for a split second before going back into conversing. I couldn't catch what the meeting was about but afterwards Regal explained to me that there were a series of murder that has happened over the days. It was shocking to say the least, one of our own has turned against us.
Ricky said that it was a threat towards our tribe, he believed no one could survive alone out there and that this was another tribe sending a message. Regal and Knox agreed. I could tell Elias thought differently but I didn't question him since he didn't speak up about it. I've come to believe that Mei Lin was wrong in calling these creatures beast, the true beast are the men who inhabit these lands.
