kennedy's point of viewafter jason so kindly bailed harrison and i out of the holding cell, he had plenty of questions to ask us as we drove around in his car.
"you got into a bar fight?" jason laughed as he kept his eyes on the road.
"yes! well, more so harrison than me." i scrunched my face up and turned to look at my friend sitting in the back seat, "is your nose okay?"
"does it look okay?" he pointed at the dried blood.
i sighed, facing the road again and slouching in my seat.
"don't mind him." i mumble.
"i asked kennedy to bring me to the 80s with her expecting a good time!" he began to sarcastically complain.
"you didn't ask, you begged me!" i said.
"and what do i get? a bloody nose, arrested, and locked in a holding cell that reeked of pee!"
"yeah, that cell did smell awful." i agreed.
jason laughed at us, "alright, look man. it's not even 11 at night so let's do something to make your 80s experience a little better."
"really?" harrison's eyes lit up.
"we don't have to." i shook my head, "i was planning on taking him back home."
"no, really." jason said, "let's stop and get some snacks or something and then we'll do something fun."
harrison leaned forward so his head was in between jason and i's.
"i love this guy, ken."
"yeah, me too." i playfully slapped harry's bicep.
"so where are we going for snacks?" harry asked, "is there like a really cool snack place or something?"
"harry, it's the 80s. not 400 years ahead into the future." i giggle, "let's go to 7/11!"
"remember what happened last time we went to 7/11?" jason gave me a doubtful look.
"what happened last time?" harry asked, confusedly.
i bit the inside of my cheek, "my aunt was there and we had to make a run for it without her seeing me so we accidentally stole from the gas station and jason was the getaway driver."
"oh yeah." harry nodded his head, "you told me about that. michael was pissed at you."
"yeah, yeah." i smiled, "seriously, what're the odds of something bad happening again?"
jason raised an eyebrow at me, thinking it over.
"alright, fine." he agreed and i cheered like a little kid.
