The next morning I found myself in a car. But to where? I didn't know because Klaus wouldn't tell us! He just barged into my room in the morning and ordered us to get dressed because we were leaving.

"Welcome to Chicago, Stefan..and Rose," Klaus smirked and I looked outside the car window.

"What are we doing here?" Stefan asked as we got out of the car.

"I know how much you loved it here. Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days?" Klaus asked him with amusement and I rolled my eyes.

"Blacked out most of them. A lot of blood, a lot of partying. The details are all a blur." Stefan replied.

"Why are we here, Klaus? You had your fun and your hybrids failed. Don't you want to move on now?" I asked him tiredly.

"We're going to see my favourite witch. If anyone can help us with our hybrid problem, it's her." He replied while Stefan and I exchanged a look. We all once again got into the car to go meet Klaus's witch.

A few hours later, we arrived at a bar, which was supposedly owned by the witch. We went inside the bar to find no one there. What kind of bar was that?

"Looks familiar, doesn't it?" Klaus asked Stefan.

"I can't believe this place is still here," Stefan replied as he looked around surprised.

"Wait. You have been here before?" I asked Stefan but before he could answer, the voice of a woman interrupted us.

"You've got to be kidding me." She said.

We snapped our heads in the direction of the voice. A dark-skinned woman stood behind the bar, who looked like she was in her late 40s. She had short white hair and by the look on her face, I could tell that she was nowhere near happy to see Klaus or us. But then again, I wouldn't be happy to see Klaus too.

Klaus smiled when he saw her. "So a hybrid walks into a bar, says to the bartender-" He started but the woman cut him off.

"Stop. You may be invincible, but that doesn't make you funny." She told him off with a blank face while I cackled.

She came forward and took a closer look at Stefan. "I remember you."

"Yeah. You're Gloria." He remembered. "Shouldn't you be..."

"Old and dead? Now if I die, who's going to run this place, huh?" She replied smugly.

"You see, Gloria's a very powerful witch," Klaus explained and I noticed Gloria staring at me. She quickly diverted her eyes from me when she saw me looking back at her.

"I can slow the ageing down some. Herbs and spells. But don't worry. It'll catch up to me one day." She said. "Why don't you introduce me to this lovely friend of yours?" Gloria directed her question towards Klaus and I made a face.
