It was still early in the morning when the older Salvatore suddenly decided to visit Elena. Unbeknownst to the women inside, he burst in through the doors of the Forbes house, not even stopping at the sight of an annoyed Caroline in a towel.

"Damon!" She gave him a chastising look. "Towel, Knock!"

"Caroline. No one cares, no," He gestured back to her. "Hey, where's Elena?"

Almost on cue, a freshly showered Elena stepped out of the bathroom in a towel while Caroline scurried off to change. Just like the blond girl, Elena let out a gasp, clutching the towel around her naked body.

"Oh, stop being so smutty," Damon smirked. "If I see something I haven't seen before, I'd throw a dollar at it,"

"Haha," She rolled her eyes. "Sometimes I can't believe I used to date you. I mean, I get Stefan...but you..."

"Ouch," He pouted, faking a hurt look. "You wound me, darling. Let's not forget how hard I used to rock your world."

Elena grimaced. "Eww!" her expression turned into a half-smirk as she rummaged through her clothes to pick out a dress to wear. "Well, yeah... But that's not the point. I'm seeing someone else now,"

Seeing the blush on her face, the Salvatore's smirk widened. "Lemme take a wild guess... Dark brown hair, blue-grey eyes, a name as eccentric as his love for pork rinds,"

The girl's cheek became as red as a tomato and Damon knew he had fared well. Revelling in his victory, he dangled her bra in his hand teasingly before Elena snatched it from him.

"Damon, behave!" She told him. "Why are you here again?"

"Just wanted to check up on my favourite doppelganger," came his vague reply.

"Yeah, sure," She answered back sarcastically.

He hummed, squeezing her shoulders. "Alright. I'll admit it. I need your help with something,"

The girl guffawed. "Damon Salvatore? The Damon Salvatore wants my help?! Has the world come to an end?"

"Elena, I'm serious about this, and no one can know what I'm about to tell you. Not even my brother and definitely not Rose,"

With a voice filled with suspicion, Elena nodded. "What do you want me to do?"
