I stared at Stefan, peeking at him from behind the wall. He had been staring off into space for a while now. I sighed internally, walking towards him with light steps. "Hey!" I greeted him with a smile, acting like I just arrived.
He instantly looked at me, the sad expression on his face turning into a calm one. He smiled at me, sitting on the sofa as he was. "Hey!" I plopped down on the sofa. "I was just about to leave," He told me, picking up his car keys.
"Oh...Got five minutes?" I asked him softly.
He nodded at me, turning completely towards me. I sighed, meeting his hazel green eyes. "Umm...I've been thinking about the whole 'Elena and the compulsion' thing. While I may not agree with it, the two of us haven't been doing any better coping up," He looked down at the car keys in his hands. " I mean, you keep zoning out for hours and I, I still see him everywhere,"
He snapped his head at me. "What do you mean?" He asked softly.
"We need help, Stefan or we won't come out of it. Ever," I replied.
He shook his head at me, frowning. "What are you talking about? I'm completely fine," He retorted with a smile. "But if there's anything you want me to help you with, I'm here,"
I looked at him with concern filled eyes. "You're not okay, Stefan," I whispered. "Acceptance is the first step, remember?"
"Okay! I really need to go now..." He got up from the sofa, much to my protest.
"Stefan!" I called out as he placed a quick kiss on my forehead. "Wait!"
"Take care," He replied, ignoring me as he sped out of the room. I sighed at myself, placing my head in my hands. He needs to accept it or he's never going to be able to move on.

Meanwhile, In the prison world, Bonnie and Damon were strolling in the woods, enjoying their time away from Kai as Damon whistled happily, playing with a stick. "You're in a good mood for the first time this decade," Bonnie mocked him playfully. He poked her with the stick, causing him to hit him on the shoulder. "Stop that!"
"Because I have a hot date with my girl tonight." He replied cheerily.
"Yeah, assuming Kai's telling the truth," She retorted while walking along with him.
