The morning light peeking in through the curtains fell on my face, waking me up from my sleep. Being who I am, I thought that I was cuddling with a big pillow until I felt someone's hot breath on my face and I snapped my eyes open to see Stefan's face. I was clinging onto him as a 5-year-old clung to a teddy bear. I slowly removed my arm from his chest and looked at him. He didn't seem to notice. He must be fast asleep. I gently grabbed his arm and removed it from around my shoulder, and began to make a run for it when he grabbed my arm, pulling me back to him.

"You're acting like we had a one night stand," Stefan mumbled, opening his eyes.

I rolled my eyes. "If Damon finds me in here, that's what he's going to think, so.." I said and tugged at his arm but he didn't remove it. "What do you want?" I groaned in annoyance.

"For you to stop moving! I'm not ready to wake up yet." He mumbled.

"Then go back to sleep and let me go." I gave him a fake smile and began to move when he pulled me back again and I grumbled, getting irritated with him.

"Stefan, I swear to God-" I started to yell at him but was cut off when I heard Caroline's voice downstairs.

"Hello? Where is everyone?!" She shouted from downstairs.

"Oh, goodie! You're here." Damon joined in.

"Well, you called me. Where's she?" Caroline asked?

"She's upstairs, still asleep and you, are going to wake her up," Damon told her

"Where are you going?" Caroline asked him.

"Just checking up on Elena. Be back soon." Damon said and left the house.

Caroline sighed and began walking towards the stairs. The sound of her footsteps getting louder with every step.

I tugged at Stefan's arm. "Let me go, Stefan. I need to go. Now!" I whisper-slash-yelled at him but he didn't leave my arm. With no choice left, I pushed him off of the bed and he fell on the floor with a loud thud. "Good riddance," I commented while he groaned in pain. I ran out of the room and into the hallway only to find Caroline in front of my room. She turned towards me and I mumbled "Shit."

"Rose, you're awake." She said in surprise and I smiled back when she tackled me in a bear hug.

I hugged her back but winced in pain at how tight she was holding me. "Caroline. Can't. Breathe." I told her and she let go of me.

"Sorry! I just really really missed you." She said.

"I missed you too," I replied.

She smiled at me but it faltered when she realised that I had just run out of Stefan's room. "Wait for a second, why did you just come out of Stefan's room?" She asked me and I bit my lip.
