That left just me and Loki. "Wanna watch another movie?" I suggested, looking at him "you know, something less educational and more fun." "Sure," he said, and leaned towards me a bit "anything specific on your mind?" "Not really, I haven't really watched a lot of movies so I have basically no idea what is considered good and what not and so on.." "Haven't you been on Earth for years now? How haven't you been watching movies?" "You know I lived on the streets up till less than a year ago, right?" "Oh shit, right, sorry... I didn't realize you were out there for that long.." he said and looked like he felt really bad about something he had said. I however was not feeling sad and wasn't hurt by his words or anything, so I guided the sad face that was watching into his lap back up to look at me and said "Loki, hey, it's okay, it really is, you didn't say anything wrong and I am fine. Don't feel guilty, you have literally done nothing wrong," He smiled at me, and though I still saw a glimmer of doubt in his eyes he seemed to accept my words. "Now, going back to the movie choosing topic, do YOU have any suggestions?" I asked him "You have been on Earth a couple of times too, haven't you?" "Well, if you want to we could always watch Titanic, I have only seen the first half of it, didn't really have much free time on Earth you know, but that was decent and I've heard it's pretty popular." "I have literally no idea what a titanic is but sounds good to me," I replied and handed him the remote control. "You know how to search it up, right?" I asked as he was looking at the remote. "Sure, yeah," he said as he took the remote from me and put it down beside him, "but why use that, if I can always do this instead," he added, then raising his voice to say "Friday, play Titanic on the living room TV!". "Now playing "Titanic" on the living room TV" answered the voice. I was in awe, that was genius and so much easier than typing it in letter by letter with the remote. "You can clap now if you want to," he said jokingly as he noticed I was positively shocked. I snapped out of the surprise, rolled my eyes, and gave him a nice nudge to which he dramatically fell over and acted as if he'd been severely hurt. "How... could... you?" he said in a dramatic voice, making me, once again, roll my eyes and laugh. "Oh get up, you drama queen, the movie is starting," he laughed and sat back up, ready to watch a movie.
After about two hours we were nailed to the screen with horror, neither of us had expected the ship to sink and now, even worse, Jack didn't come onto the wooden thing he would've OBVIOUSLY fit onto. I felt tears streaming down my face, I didn't know movies could cause that. Why was this movie popular when it was so heartbreaking? Or was that exactly the reason? I couldn't look at the screen so I turned my face away, only to see that Loki, the guy everyone saw as a villain, had been just as heartbroken by the second half of the movie. I climbed closer to him and slid my head under his arm, onto his chest. He flinched, he had been so focused on the movie that he hadn't noticed me coming, which made me laugh through the tears. "You okay?" he asked looking down at me. "I guess, didn't expect THAT to happen, I don't understand why people like to voluntarily get their hearts broken by watching it, but I am actually almost as surprised about YOU picking a ROMANCE," I replied teasingly and laughed. "Well, technically I didn't quite know where it was going, to me, it might've as well ended up being a big bloody gun-fight over the jewel and the girl kind of movie," "Technically... but it wasn't just that, was it?" "No you're right," he said "I actually just liked the boat." He said it in full seriousness but then we both burst out laughing, knowing that was definitely not a reason good enough for him to choose a movie. Because of our laughing and chattering, we basically missed the last few scenes of the movie, but I didn't really care. With the movie over though, I climbed out from underneath his arm and stretched my own arms instead. I had been sitting for like four hours at least so I really needed to get my blood flowing a bit. Just as I was standing up, Friday turned off the TV and said "Message from Steve: the food is ready and he's waiting in the dining room." Was about time, my stomach had started asking for more food about half-way through the movie.
