(On Titan)
After landing the Q-ship on Titan they all got out, to prepare for the battle with Thanos that would soon take place, but instead, they got attacked by the Guardians of the Galaxy as soon as they stepped out of the ship. Star-Lord held a gun to Peter's head while Ironman, fully suited, was ready to blast Drax's face. "Where's Gamora!?" shouted Quill at Tony, only to get a reply of "I'll do you one better, who's Gamora?". Drax added "I'll do YOU one better, why's Gamora?" "Tell me where she is or I'll kill him," insisted Star-Lord with a gun still aimed at Peter's head. He didn't know these were the Avengers. They had arrived on one of Thanos's ships so he assumed they were with him. Loki, who recognized the guardians as definitely not Thanos's followers when he made it out of the ship last, then spoke up. "Wait," he said, looking at the guardians one by one, recognizing them as the squad he had heard of, "You're the Guardians of the Galaxy, aren't you?" he asked. "Yeah, what about it?" Quill replied. "Tony, they are also good guys, they're kind of like more intergalactic heroes squad, they most definitely aren't with Thanos," said Loki, after which
he lowered his hand which he kept ready for blasting Drax and Peter took off his mask. "The Avengers," said Tony, reaching out his hands to shake it with Quill's "we're the heroes who have been protecting the Earth, we have some more inter-galactic members too, but mostly we're still new to space," Star-Lord, having realized the Avengers had a bone to pick with Thanos just like they did, reached his hand to Tony's and shook it. "We are the Guardians of the Galaxy, just like that guy," he nodded at Loki, "said. He's one of the more intergalactic ones I'm assuming," "Yup," said Tony and they started planning the ambush they'd win Thanos with. Dr. Strange, meanwhile, went to see the possible futures. He then proceeded by telling everyone, there would be only one in which they were going to win and stop half of the Universe from being erased.
(In Wakanda)
When we had landed in Wakanda, Wanda lifted her powers and my head was once again filled with thoughts and feelings. However, it was still calmer compared to earlier, the rest had helped and I was able to focus on preparing for the battle that was going to come. I looked around as we stepped out of the plane. Wakanda was beautiful, I wished I would be here for any other reason than this, but the Universe needed protection so I had decided to give it my all and deal with the questions I had later. While Wanda went inside the castle with Vision, to see what they'd be able to do about the target attached to his head, the stone we were protecting, I was taken to the rest of the heroes and the army, to prepare us for the battle and make plans. I shut down most of my mind the best I could and focused on just that up until it was announced that Wakanda was being attacked. The aliens were here, and so the fight started. I was surprised by how focused I now was, freezing the attackers one by one until they burst into pieces from the cold. Some I burned, some I hit with the weapons made from the ground beneath us, and if any of them managed to get closer, I'd stop them with my sword.
(On Titan)
When Thanos finally arrived, he didn't bring an army with him or anyone at all actually. He walked around the empty-seeming planet, as the heroes had agreed on taking him by surprise, but once they jumped out he didn't seem surprised. After a pretty brief fight, they were about to get the glove with the stones off of his arm, but Quill and Rocket finding out about Gamora's death lost it and they failed. Soon after that, the heroes were defeated, and shockingly to everyone, Strange handed over the stone. Their last hope was Loki, who was going to do the betrayal thing he was so good at. He stepped up to Thanos and kneeled before him, hiding Asgard's most powerful dagger behind his back. He swore loyalty to Thanos, who then seemed to believe him, but when Loki tried to slash off his glove-wearing hand, his dagger went right through Thanos as if his tricks had been used against him. Thanos had seen right through his plan, but instead of immediately killing him he stated, "I heard you have a little girlfriend on Earth... I'll tell you what, if you are willing to sacrifice her I'll let you live. I'll only kill half of everything, so I'll kill half of the Asgardian gods, if you are willing to sacrifice her, I'll let you and Thor live. How does that sound?" "So if I die, you'll promise me you won't touch her?" Loki asked. He didn't care about his life as long as Cass would be safe. "I promise. I might be called a mass-murderer, a bastard, and many other names, but a liar I am not." Loki nodded. He knew very well, that Thanos was a guy who kept his promises. "Then kill me. And she lives." Loki said, "Please tell her I love her," he added, right before Thanos slid the same dagger he had planned to kill the alien with into Loki's chest. He fell onto the ground and Strange rushed to him, he was a doctor after all so he was going to do his best to help. Thanos meanwhile disappeared. He had gone to Earth, to get the last stone. Two last tears fell down Loki's face. It had broken him that he couldn't say goodbye to her, touch her for one last time, but it was worth it. She would now be safe, she'd be okay. His face fell to the side with his eyes staying open. They now looked more like glass or plastic, like fake eyes, there was no him in them. And his heart stopped beating, so that hers could continue...
