I woke up in a hospital, the girl who had given me the map was sitting next to me. "Hi," she said when I woke up, "Hello," I replied, still trying to figure out where I was, how long I had been unconscious for, and so on. She, however, had already gone to get a doctor, who came and ran some tests on me, as I assume they do on normal humans, but I wasn't one, so my reactions were also going to be different. "How long have I been unconscious for?" I asked, hoping it hadn't been too long. "Over three weeks, sir," "THREE WEEKS!?" "Yes sir," "I need to go, NOW, there's someone whose life is in danger, I was on my way to save her before and... I just hope it's not too late.." "Sir, do you want me to call the police?" "No, that wouldn't help.." "I'm afraid I don't understand sir," "Can you get in touch with my brother?" I then asked, as they would maybe be able to do that. Maybe. "Absolutely, what's his name?" the doctor asked. The fewer people knew it was the Loki that tried to rule the Earth the better, so I looked at the flirty girl standing beside the medic and then back to him. He seemed to understand what I meant and asked her to leave. "My brother is Thor, Thor the god of thunder," I told him as soon as he had shut the door, but he seemed to not believe me. He now thought I was a lunatic, some delusional madman. I had to prove to him it was me and not some lunatic human. I stood up and changed myself to a fully suited version of me, with my horns and everything, he seemed to believe me now, but was also pretty terrified. I sighed. Of course he wouldn't help the villain. I sat back down on the bed and covered my face with my hands, I was losing hope, tears were running down my face as the doctor left the room in a hurry and locked me in. Shit. "Heimdall, I know you can see me, can you do something, anything, to help her, to help me help her, please," I whispered to myself.
A few hours passed with me just sitting in the room. While I could've broken down the door I didn't, I had no clue where to go or what to do next so I just sat there until some police officers came in, all imaginable cop-equipment with them, they were here to take me to jail. I was ready to let them have me, I had no better ideas anyway, but then I heard a familiar voice from behind them. "No," said Thor, "he's going with me." Heimdall had heard me, he had sent Thor to help me. The hope that had disappeared came flooding back as I jumped up and walked right up to him. "We need to go, NOW," I said and he nodded. We walked outside, where Stark was already waiting with a quinjet. I didn't know if they would trust me but trying to get their help was my only chance I had left so I walked right into the ship without a fight. "Well hello, Loki," said Tony, I gave him a nod and turned to Thor, who now that I looked at him seemed pretty furious. They obviously thought I had done something I hadn't and his next sentences explained what it was. "How could you, Loki?! She loved you and you just used her like that, kidnapped her for the stone, I thought you were better, I really thought, brother," "So that's what you think." I replied, disappointed, "I never kidnapped her. Just use a little bit of your mind, I can't teleport, I don't have the tesseract that helped me do that in the past, and why would I ever make her do something that she doesn't want to after I literally died for her," "I guess you have a point," said Stark, who had come from the cockpit to chat as well. "So tell us your version," "Have you heard of S.W.O.R.D.? Because they wanted to weaponize the stone that melted into her DNA, they came after us even after she hid us and since she couldn't keep us safe any longer she gave herself to them so that I would be safe.." I tried to give them a quick overview. I then pulled the letter she had written out of my pocket and handed it to Tony, "Here's proof." He read the letter and then handed it to Thor, they both teared up, but I was out of tears. The only thing I now wanted was to save her. "Can we please go get her? And shut down S.W.O.R.D. or something? She saved the whole fucking Universe, she deserves a life she is in charge of.." I asked with obvious desperation in my voice. I had no clue whether she was even alive anymore. I prayed she was. "We'll get her," said Tony, returned to the cockpit, and started making phone calls to plan the rescue mission. An immediate one.
