(About seven months later)

I woke up with the sun shining onto my face and reached out to Loki. I still checked THAT he was there every time I woke up, it was automatic. He was. When I opened my eyes I saw he was already awake, which was also usual. "Good morning, my love," he said, his morning voice still making shivers run down my spine, "Hi," I said, after which I got up as I really had to pee. Being nine months pregnant had its pros and its cons. Having to pee every other second was a con. I stood up only to get a sharp pain and feel liquid gushing down onto my legs. It was time. "Loki," I turned to him, "We need to get to the hospital or something, the little princess has decided it's the day of her entrance," Loki was up from bed in seconds, running around the house and putting together stuff, panicking, while I still made my way to the toilet to pee.

Soon we were out the door, only to see Thor waiting for us with a car already. He had gotten the hang of "most Midgardian things" over the past months and after he and Loki got themselves phones Thor's number was the first Loki learned by heart. He never told me why.

He had probably called Thor so that he would get us to the hospital. "My queen, my king," Thor greeted us half-jokingly. He had gotten used to the fact that me and Loki became the rulers of Asgard instead of him. I guess after Jane and losing Loki several times and all the other things he had been doubting the wish to be king anyway, but wasn't sure Loki would be able to handle it. But when I showed up, the firstborn of Odin's firstborn and therefore before him in the line of succession, and saved the Universe, ready to sacrifice myself without a second thought, I guess he didn't think Loki ruling alongside me was that bad after all. And so about a month after I was saved from the S.W.O.R.D. lab me and Loki got married and were crowned the next day. It was a big responsibility to rule a nation, but we had all the Avengers supporting our backs.

We soon made it to the hospital, the contractions were now already getting pretty close to each other. It was really happening. We were really having a baby. I was rushed straight to the delivery room, the labor felt both like forever and like three seconds, and then finally I heard a small cry that melted another piece of my soul, it went straight into her little body. She was here. The doctor placed her right onto my chest as tears of happiness fell down my face. I looked up to Loki, who was right there beside me, smiling with tears in his eyes as well, "She is perfect," I whispered. Loki gave both me and our little girl a kiss on our heads, "Just like you, Cass," "Our little Frigga," I said and looked back and forth between Loki and Frigga, who both seemed pretty happy with that choice of name.
