2 May 1999, St.Mungo's Hospital

The hall's of St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries were barren, that how the hospital staff liked it, less sick people that entered brought a sense of security to the healers that worked there. A year had passed since the end of the second wizarding war, and St. Mungo's mourning the loss of many wizards and witches that lost there lives, fighting against Voldemort.

A name that was once feared is said freely throughout the wizarding world, because after all when you fear a name you only increase fear within itself.

Katherine Parker, was working double time at the Hospital in order to learn as much as she could in healing magic, as she wasn't much use during the war. She was actually amazed that she managed to survive, the year working at St. Mungo's had taught her a lot, more than Katherine thought she was capable of.

Her work at St. Mungo's had sparked new idea's and theories, regarding the minds of wizards and how they worked, she had many private projects that she had theorised over the last couple of months. Katherine hoped one day they could become extremely useful if something were to happen.

Such as a theory, that you could pinpoint specific memories in your mind, so should a wizard be obliviated, there was still a way to remember the memories marked inside your mind. Katherine knew that she had to work on these theories alone, as people would call it a waste of medical time when they could be finding actual cures for diseases.

The sound alarm for emergency staff rang, Katherine, being free hurried down to assist the patient. To her shock, lifeless on a hospital bed was Pansy Parkinson an old classmate of hers. They weren't exactly friends but she knew of her and her band of bullies.

"What happened?" Katherine asked, begin to read through the notes,

"She was found like this in Diagon Alley, left out in the open, Aurors are there now," the mediwitch said,

Katherine looked over her wounds, open cuts covered in blood, she was alive but barely. Katherine got to work, apply multiple healing spells and paste to heal the open wounds. She numbed as much of Pansy's pain as she could, but spells could only do so much.

In Diagon Alley,

Aurors were called to the scene, including Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. They investigated the crime scene, there wasn't much to go on, whoever had attacked Pansy Parkinson, left no such trace, magical or physical. Harry and Ron looked around to find anything they could unless she wasn't attacked here.

"What do you think happened?"

"Nott, you're aren't suppose to be here, Harry and I were assigned this case," Harry told him, Theo rolled his eyes at Ron.

"Pansy is one of my best friends, I'm on this case now," Theo said, "I want to find the fucker that did this,"

"Number one, you're too close to the victim, and number two, you aren't going to help us if you can't keep yourself calm," Harry said, practically holding Theo back from marching towards the crime scene.

"What would you have me do then, sit back and watch you two deal with it," he mocked, smirking down at them.

"If your so determined to help, then talk to Parkinson see what she knows that can help us," Ron suggested,

Theo cursed under his breath, abruptly leaving Potter and Weasley to do their job, he apparated to St. Mungo's though he had no idea which department Pansy would be on. He approached a nurse showing her his badge, asking to be taken to Pansy Parkinson.

The nurse walked him to the ward that Pansy resided, he saw that some mediwitches were working on her and he would have to wait in order to find out what had happened. Katherine exited Pansy's room, Theo stood walking to the door, as he was about to open the door. Katherine stopped him.

"What do you think you're doing?" She asked

"Leave it Parker, Auror business," he said reaching for the door handle

"She is extremely frail, who knows what she's been through-

"Exactly, I intend to find out," he moved Katherine aside to open the door

"Waking her prematurely could result in serious consequences, if you wish to speak to her, you must wait until she wakes up on her own,"

Theo froze when his eyes laid upon Pansy, she looked broken, pale to the point of appearing dead. He turned away not being able to bear the sight of her, he quickly walked out of the room. Katherine studied him, as he leaned against the wall, trying to control his breathing.

"She'll be fine, she just needs to rest," Katherine tried to reassure him "Are you alright?"

"I don't need your pity,"

"I'm not pitying you, I just-

"I said, I don't need your pity Parker, you inform me the second she wakes up," he said, his eyes turned from a panicked fueled expression to stone cold, as though he had a switch in his brain, that he could turn on and off.

"You don't need to act all tough, we're adults, we're not children," Katherine told him,

Theo scoffed pushing himself off the wall, leaving the hospital, Katherine grabbed her clipboard infuriated, 'how dare he be so rude,' she thought, his friend was in critical condition. He could at least show some compassion, 'or was that how he views his friends,'

Katherine had to admit she hadn't exactly been the nicest friend in recent months, surely Hermione and Ginny would understand the pressure she's under at work. An alarm from Pansy's room signalled Katherine, she hurried inside.

Pansy's was hyperventilating, covered in sweat. From the looks of it, she was having a nightmare. Katherine approached her cautiously, when Pansy's eyes shot open, she grabbed Katherine's wrist pulling her down to her face and muttered.

"The Warrior is coming,"
