Chapter 28

22 November 1999, Parkinson Manor

Katherine stirred awake, as Bekah and Lisa sat on the floor listening to the music playing on the radio. Katherine held the blanket, against her body, she wrapped it around her, walking to the kitchen, a smile wide across her face, remembering the night before.

"Morning sleeping beauty," Theo said, eyeing her up and down,

"I should change," she said,

"Don't I kind of like that you're naked under there,"

"Shh," she said, nudging his side, he pulled her onto his lap, pressing his lips against hers, she rested her forehead against his.

"What are you working on?" she asked, he rest his chin on her shoulder, using a pen, to pinpoint information he had highlighted.

"You know information from the book, right?" she nodded, "well, this is what should have happened in the last 2 months, but they haven't,"

"Well, that's good right?"

"Yes, and no," he said, "it means anything can change at any time,"

"So what are we going to do?"

"I'm not entirely, I think we need to go off the grid," Theo suggested

"We can't do that-

"The Lestrange knew that you asked Phoebe to look at Alex's memories, how else would they know that if they weren't watching us?"

"Alright, what should we do?" Katherine asked, Theo wrote a piece of paper in case someone was listening.

"We need leave, but we can't just go walk out of the door, they're probably watching," Katherine sighed, she had an idea.

"I have a plan, just trust me,"

"I do trust you," he said, she kissed him, hurrying upstairs to get changed.

At Jessica home,

Katherine arrived at Jessica's home, she had a large hood to hide her face, she didn't want to put her cousin and her family in danger. However, Katherine believed it was the only way they could leave without being seen, she knocked on the door, Jessica had finally taken her advice of shutting the door.

"Hey, you never told me you were coming?" Jessica said as she invited Katherine inside.

"I need your help," she said,

"Of course what is?"

"Jess, you have to understand, I wouldn't ask if I was desperate, I don't want to put you, Charlie or your children in danger-

"Kat, you're scaring me, what's going on?"

"Theo and I are being watched, we don't stand a chance of running by ourselves,"

"How can I help?" Jessica asked

"Now you can totally say no, I'll understand," Jessica nodded, "I was wondering if, I use some of your hair for a polyjuice potion, and some Theo, and the kids,"

"Let me talk to Charlie,"

Jessica left Katherine in the living alone, Jessica dog, laid on its back with one of its front legs stuck in the air. Jessica came back after 30 minutes, with 5 plastic backs, each with hair, and a name written on the back.

'Jessica'

'Charlie'

'Archie'

'Mary'

'Anna'

"Thank you, you don't understand how grateful I am for this," tears welled in Katherine's eyes as she hugged Jessica,

"I hope you stay safe, I love you," Jessica kissed her cheek.

Back at Parkinson Manor,

Theo wasn't going to tell Pansy of their plans to leave, as it would give her deniability if someone came to question her. Katherine arrived back, Theo gathered the children upstairs, packing their things, some clothes their blankets, and toys.

He then packed his and Katherine's bag, Katherine prepared the polyjuice potions, putting a label on them so she knew who they were turning into. Once Theo and the children were prepared to leave, she gave them their potion to drink, the children refused to drink it, due to the horrid smell.

"You have to sweetie," Katherine said, Bekah drank a tiny sip, she coughed, her face changed from her clear skin to heavily freckled, her brown hair turned red.

"You look like Mary and Anna," Lisa said,

"You can look like Mary and Anna too," Katherine said, Lisa took a sip, of her potions, her face changing to be identical to Bekah

"Okay, Alex you're next," he took a sip of his potion, his hair only changing slightly to a light brown.

"You look like Archie," one of the girls said, Katherine couldn't tell which one of her daughters said that.

"Which one is Lisa?" she asked

"I am,"

"Alright Lisa, your name now is Mary, Bekah, yours is Anna, and Alex, you're Archie now,"

"Who are you daddy going to be?" Alex asked,

Katherine and Theo took a sip of their potion, Katherine, dark brown hair, turned light brown, and slightly longer. Theo's hair grew longer and red, his face was now heavily freckled, Theo and the girls had changed the most. Theo cringed as he looked in the mirror.

"Great I'm a Weasley,"

"It's just until we get away," Katherine said, "did you pack everything?"

"Yes," Katherine eyed him, she knew it was Theo but she couldn't see past Charlie Weasley's face.

"Right come, Archie, Anna and...

"Mary," Katherine told him,

"Mary right,"

"Where we going Charl- I mean Dad," Alex said,

"We're going camping, look for some weird creature, something like that," Katherine chuckled, trying her hardest not to laugh.

The family left, if anyone was watching them, it would appear as though the Weasley's had left the Manor. Katherine insisted that Anna holds her hand. Being that she was the youngest of the three children. Theo used a portkey to take the family to the wild of the woods, it wasn't exactly their best plan but they need to lay low.

Theo set up the tent, the children were sceptical as the tent didn't look like they would all fit inside. Once they entered the tent, they were amazed at how big the inside was, they ran around. Katherine and Theo set up a table to look over their work.

"What now?" Katherine asked

"We need to find out the Warrior is more than anything now, our lives depend on it"
