13th October 1999, Ministry of Magic

Theo and Katherine finally had a lead, they had taken the children with them to the Ministry of Magic. In hopes that Alex could identify the men from old wanted posters, or from files of Azkaban inmates. While Theo took Alex into a private room to view some of the pictures, meanwhile Katherine took Lisa and Bekah to find out where '55 Loughton lane' was.

"Here's every report we've had from 55 Loughton Lane," a Ministry official said, place nine boxes filled with files all from 55 Loughton Lane.

"This is a lot are you sure it's the right house?" she asked

"Erm, Miss Parker, 55 Loughton Lane, is a cemetery," he informed her

"A cemetery?" she questioned "so all these files are-

"People who have been buried or crimes that might have occurred around the area," he explained

Katherine nodded, the ministry official left Katherine to look through the files. She didn't know where to start there were so many, she scanned through the files looking for any names that might be important.

"Mummy, it's that scary lady again?" Bekah said, holding a file, Katherine took it from her, Bellatrix Lestrange had been buried in the cemetery. Katherine kept the file as the children couldn't possibly know her. That was the second time they had identified her, 'but how did they know her?'

Theo had put pictures up all over the room, hoping Alex could recognise one of them or more. Alex said that there were two men with him, Alex looked around the room. Theo walked around with him watch Alex carefully.

"Dad, what if I get it wrong?" Alex asked, looking up at Theo, Theo placed his hand on Alex's shoulder.

"Just do your best," He said, "do any of them look familiar?" Alex looked all around the room.

"Him," he pointed "and him," he pointed to two pictures, Theo smiled at him

"Good job, is there anything else you can tell, anything you might have heard or seen?" Theo asked

"I think there was someone else, I didn't see him but he was speaking really quietly like he was shy or could get his words out,"

"You mean he stuttered?" Theo questioned

"Yeah, that's it stuttered,"

Theo took the two photos of the men, hiding them away though he wouldn't admit Theo had become paranoid about who he was able to trust. He thought he could trust Harry until recent events showed he couldn't. Theo walked Alex through to Katherine who was still looking through the mountains of files.

"Did you find anything?" Theo asked

"Between dozens of deaths and reports of petty crimes nothing much," Katherine told him

"Loughton Cemetery?"

"Yeah, apparently that's the address,"

"Potter and Weasley were called there months ago, a few days before Pansy was attacked," Theo said.

At Grimmauld Place,

Harry had been visited by Rhea Black and Max Burke, they wanted his help in finding out what had happened to them. Rhea was almost discovered to be an animagus which thanks to her dad was covered up. Max however had bigger things to worry about. He couldn't recall the last 5 months of his life.

Rhea had begged Harry not to mention anything to her mother, she would be deeply upset to know her and Max were still struggling. As Harry was about to go into detail about Katherine Parker and Theo Nott, they had an unexpected visitor.

Harry never expected to see Theo walk through the door of Grimmauld Place again. Katherine was with him, and the children, Harry knew they would come to another argument while the children were around. Rhea and Max went home both really awkward around Katherine and Theo.

"I didn't expect to see you here," Harry said

"I didn't think I'd be back here too," Theo said, Ginny looked between them sensing the tension rising.

"Kids, I made brownies, would you like some?" she asked, Lisa and Bekah excitedly ran into the kitchen while Alex walked with Ginny calmly.

"Harry, we needed to ask you about a job you were called to a few months ago," Katherine told him getting to the reason why they were there.

"Which job are you referring to?" he asked

"You and Weasley were called to Loughton Cemetery, just before Pansy was attacked-

"Oh yeah, that case was strange, there was series of grave robberies, but nothing was ever taken," Harry explained

"Could you get me the report you would have done, I just want to check for anything that may help us," Katherine asked, Harry, nodded heading upstairs, leaving Katherine and Theo together.

"Are you alright?" Katherine asked him, Theo nodded

"Just tired,"

"You've been quiet for a while now, you haven't even kissed me in days now," he smiled

"Do you miss it?" he smirked

"I- no that's not what I meant, you kiss my cheek every morning, and you haven't I just wondered if you were-

Theo cut her off by pressing his lips against hers, he thought when she turned away from him that she didn't like him kissing her. He could feel Katherine smile as he kissed her, since Katherine and the children had moved in with him things had changed his whole life had changed.

Katherine slept in his bed with him, like they were husband and wife, waking up to the children every morning. They were a family, though they didn't become a family in the traditional sense, they were a family. And Theo was willing to do everything in his power to keep them safe.
