Chapter 29

2nd December 1999,

Katherine and Theo along with the children had been living in a tent for a while now, Katherine knew that no one, knew of their location. As she used some of the Polyjucie Potions, temporarily changing into her cousin to scope out to St. Mungos for any strange accidents or injuries.

She read in the Daily Prophet, that Auror Theodore Nott and Healer Katherine Parker were reported as missing with no leads on their whereabouts. Katherine saw how exhausted Alex, Lisa and Bekah were walking behind them, as they walked through the woods.

"I think we'll be fine here," Katherine said,

"Thank Merlin," Alex said, laying on the ground, Theo set up the tent while Katherine placed some protective wardings around the area.

"Alright children inside," Katherine said, hurrying the children inside the tent, "Theo wait a minute,

"What is it? Did you see something?"

"No, nothing like that," she said,

"Then what's wrong?" he asked

"It isn't good for the children being out here, they're so tired it isn't right to ask them to run with us,"

"So what do you want to do?"

"Well, I've thought about this for a while now," Theo waited for Katherine to tell him.

"I was thinking that they could stay in Romania with Jessica, they'd be away from everything then," Katherine expected Theo to protest the idea,

"Alright, I suppose they wouldn't be danger like they would be with us," Theo said, "write to your cousin see if she's happy to do that,"

Katherine hurried to write a letter to Jessica, while Theo wanted the children to stay close to them. Their safety was more important than being with them, if they had to go to another country to be safer then it was worth being away from them for a while. An owl flew past Theo just missing flying into him, the owl dropped a letter on the floor.

"Kat, there's a letter for you," Theo said, handing her the letter, she stopped mid writing a sentence to open the letter.

Dear Kat,

I know we haven't spoken a lot, but I thought you should know I had a weird encounter at a Quidditch game of mine. A woman approached me, asking for you, I didn't get her name or even a glimpse of her face, but she was asking weird questions.

Apparently, you're in a relationship with Theodore Nott. Seriously Kat, if that's true, I thought you could do better. That wasn't the weird thing, she said you had three children? Now if I remember rightly you have to have been pregnant, I know you. You don't have time for children, you're too busy working.

I just thought you should come and see me so we can talk more in person, I understand if you don't want to. But the whole thing was strange and sketchy.

"Theo, look at this," Katherine showed Theo the letter.

"Bitch, who does she think she is telling you, you can do better,"

"Not that, there was a woman looking for me, she could be the warrior,"

"Oh yeah, I just saw my name, who is she anyway?"

"My sister Louisa, we don't exactly get along," Katherine said, continuing her letter to Jessica, "I'll go and see what she knows,"

At Louisa's House,

Katherine arrived on a busy muggle street, which she found strange, while she and Louisa grew up in a wizarding family, aside from their muggle grandfather. She assumed Louisa would have chosen a home more secluded from muggles.

She looked around for the correct house, she knew vaguely what her sister's house looked like but wasn't a hundred per cent of the number. 'Was it 14 or 16?' she questioned looking between the two doors, she hoped that Louisa would see her and open the door, she took a chance and knocked on number 16.

"Finally, I thought you would have gotten here quicker," Louisa said,

"I haven't been at home in months now," Katherine said,

"Auntie Kat," Lousia's little girl said, running up to her,

"She's so big now," she said, little her niece up,

"So what's this about you having children?"

Katherine sighed, sitting down going through the same story she had told many people now. Though Katherine went into more detail as to what's happened between her and Theo. She admitted that she loved him, having no idea how he felt about her.

It seemed silly to dwell on what Theo thought of her, if it weren't for the children, she probably wouldn't have ever crossed his path again. Katherine could thank their children for bringing her and Theo together, she quickly explained everything wanting to know what Louisa knew about the woman.

"She was short, quiet stocky from what I could tell, but she had her hood up, I couldn't tell you her hair, or what her face looked like, she just asked about you, a lot,"

"What kind of things did she want to know?"

"If I knew where you lived, if you were living with your boyfriend, I laughed and said they had the wrong person, cause to my knowledge you weren't seeing anyone, then she asked about a book-

"What kind of book?"

"I don't know she just said a book, you had with you," Katherine nodded,

Katherine wanted to leave before her husband came back, Oliver would keep her for ages, trying to convince her that Quidditch was the greatest thing to exist. She didn't have the time, for that. Before heading back she wanted to clear her head, think of everything that she had been told.

Katherine looked back over her shoulder, almost certain she had heard someone. Though when she turned around no one was in sight, 'it's alright, you're in a muggle village, a wizard would have to be a fool to use magic this publicly,' she told herself.
