1st March 2000, Nott Manor

Katherine and Theo took a whole week, to mentally prepare themselves for the children's departure, they each spent one to one time with each child. Theo decided he'd take Alex to a Quidditch game which he loved so much, Katherine had taken Alex sightseeing to one of the oldest wizarding landmarks, he enjoyed challenging his mother's logic with his own.

Theo had taken Lisa to Winged Horse racing the competitiveness of the small girl proved to be worse than his own. Katherine had taken her to the movies so she could watch 'An Extremely Goofy Movie' she loved her cartoon movies and brought out the inner child in Katherine.

Theo spent all his day doing anything Bekah wanted, and she wanted to paint, so they painted all day, the smallest girl had grown so much on him. Katherine took Bekah to the petting zoo, she loved to see all the animals, she laughed so much when a bunny tickled her nose.

"Are you sure we're doing the right thing?" Katherine asked him, as the children had their toys that she and Theo had brought back for them.

"Yes, I saw that we had some of your cousin and her husband's polyjuice left it hasn't gone off yet," he suggested

"It might make it easier, for the children and us," she said, he handed her the bottle, they looked in the mirror, appeared as Charlie and Jessica Weasley, she sighed, putting on a bright smile.

"Alright, children are you ready?"

"Where's mum and dad?" Alex asked

"We're taking you to them," Charlie said, Lisa and Bekah nodded holding Charlie's hand, Alex held Jessica's hand.

Charlie put the time-turner around them, turning the dial, the five of them landed in a home, Charlie looked around not recognising the place. Until he saw her, Pansy Parkinson, an older version of her, the children ran over to her, hugging her a lot.

"Aunt Pan-pan, we've missed you," Lisa said,

"Lisa?" They heard Jessica saw the older Katherine hurry to her children

"My baby's your home, Theo!" she called lifting Lisa into her arms, he stood in the door frame of the living room he knelt down opening his arms

"Daddy!" Bekah ran straight to him, he lifted her in the air, settling her on his shoulder, he lifted Lisa then Alex. Katherine laughed as he strained his back a little

"You're getting too old hunny," she said, helping to take the girls from him, Alex looked over at Charlie and Jessica, he walked over to them.

"Thank you for looking after us," he said, Jessica hugged the boy, fighting back her tears

"You take care of your sisters alright," Charlie told him the boy nodded returning to his family, while the family were too emersed to notice their present they walked outside.

"Wait!" Theodore said,

"Thank you, for everything, for taking care of them, and bringing them back," the polyjuice potion wore off, and Katherine's tears were ready to fall.

"Don't cry, I always hated it, whenever she cried," he told her,

"I'll never see them again," she sobbed,

"You will," he flicked his eyes over to Theo, "I'm sure of it," she hugged him, it felt strange, but she needed it

"You raised some incredible children," she said,

"I had a lot of influences, especially from Kat's grandfather," she smiled, Theo tapped her elbow

"We should go before they see us," he said, Katherine nodded she held his hand, "You'll want this back," he handed the Timetuner back to Theodore

"Yes, but for now keep it," he told them, "it may be helpful if you use it correctly,"

8th March 2000, Nott Manor

Katherine and Theo had been distant since returning to Nott Manor, the emptiness of the home was like torture. Many times Katherine had woken up thinking she heard one of the children, most mornings Theo wasn't in the house, he had gone to the Ministry in hopes of finding some proof for Narcissa.

He couldn't believe that she spoke to Katherine the way she did. Narcissa wouldn't have dared while he was there with Katherine, if she wanted proof Theo was going to give her proof. Katherine looked around hating the feeling of having nothing to do.

No children to feed or put a stop to arguments between Lisa and Alex. A thought had purged her mind ever since they came back. Did Theo still want to be with her, if it wasn't for the children coming here in the first place, Katherine wouldn't have given Theo a second glance.

She remembered how hostile he was to her before the children came. 'Who's said he wouldn't go back to being that way with her' she thought. She looked all around her all the priceless ornaments that filled his home, portraits of the Nott's going back generations. Centuries of old money.

A life that she didn't fit in to.

Her breathing escalated, everywhere she looked was a reason why they didn't belong together. His friends hated her, her friends, even her family couldn't understand why she loved him. She rushed upstairs she looked all around nothing here was hers the only thing she had was her clothes.

Any other time she would have shrugged away the feeling, but with Theo avoidance, and hardly speaking since coming back she couldn't stop herself from believing he didn't want anything to do with her. She packed her clothes she looked around only to realise she didn't have anything else, everything else belonged to Theo.
