Chapter 41

At 3 Greenfield Street,

Katherine arrived outside her flat, the place seemed so small now. While it was perfect for her she couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness. She thought being in a small place would help fill some of the emptiness, with only one living room that was joined to the kitchen closely.

She looked at everything was exactly how she left it, not a thing out of place. The only thing that was different was the dust the sat on top of all her furniture. She lifted her sleeves, taking a cloth to clean everything having something would have taken her mind away from everything.

She finished dusting a lot sooner than she thought, she took a deep breath. It was still there. The emptiness she ran her finger's through her hair, gripping her head tightly, her breathing elevated, she looked at all her belongings. They didn't make her feel better, she pulled down the curtains and tipped over her shelving watching everything fall.

"I need to get out of here," she told herself heading for the door, she ran into the street, just running not stopping.

At Ministry of Magic,

Theo had found the evidence that he needed to prove to Narcissa that Bellatrix was alive. Now she was going to help him, even if he had to force her to realise Bellatrix was alive and the cause of all this. He ran into Harry, he explained that he and Katherine had taken the children back to their parents.

"So where does that leave you and Kat?" he asked

"We're still together, I love her, Harry, I'm not going to let anything else hurt her," he told him, Harry chuckled

"What's so funny?"

"Just 10 months ago you couldn't stand her," Harry said, Theo hadn't realised it was 10 months since all this began,

"And you're standing here tell me you love her," Harry snapped him back to reality

"I'm crazy about her, I wouldn't be standing here if it wasn't for her, she's saved my ass more times than I care to admit,"

"I hope you're both okay, I could see how much you cared about the children," Theo nodded,

"I best get home,"

Theo arrived back at Nott Manor, he called for Katherine, though he went unanswered. He walked into the kitchen, finding a note laid on the counter.

I'm sorry, I realised this was never my home, I don't want to be a burden.

He tried to think of where she would go. He knew she wouldn't go to her sisters, or her parents not wanting to put them in danger, or anything for that matter. Then it hit him, her flat. She told that she's be surprised if anyone knew she lived there.

At 3 Greenfield Street,

He arrived at her flat, he looked around everywhere, the place was trashed. Fearing something had happened to her, he noticed that the keys were gone, she might have gone out, he looked at the clock it was nearly 2 in the morning, and rain.

Theo ran through the rain, the cafe she would go to would be closed as would Library. The only place he thought she could be is in the park, the dark unlit park. 'She'd have to be stupid to go in there at night,' he thought, he could see the rain bouncing off the ground.

"Katherine" his voice echoed through the park, he looked around, not seeing much through the heavy rainfall. He spotted a faint image of someone laying on the floor, he ran over to them.

"Kat what are you doing?" he leaned down moving the hair that stuck on her forehead

"Just leave me alone," her voice was broken, he could tell she had been crying, by the redness under her eyes.

"Just stand up," he pulled her up, holding her close to him

"You scared the fuck out of me," he said

"I lost everything," she mumbled,

"What?"

"For the first time in my life, I had people that needed me, and now it's all gone," she sobbed, he wiped her tears,

"I need you," he told her

"You don't need me,"

"Are you kidding, I can't solve this without you," he said, smiling at her "I'm just glad your safe, I thought something might have happened to you,"

"Don't ever leave me again," he said, he pressed his lips against hers she smiled into their kiss. "I'm taking you home okay?" she nodded

At Nott Manor, (MATURE)

Theo ran Katherine the shower, hoping that warm water might prevent her from becoming ill after being in the cold rain for a long time. He ruffled his hair getting as much rainwater out as possible, Katherin stood in the walk-in shower, letting the hot water heat up her skin. Theo got changed out of his wet clothes, throwing a pair of shorts on,

"Kat, are you alright?" he shouted down the hall, she didn't answer him he hurried to the bathroom, steam filled the room she could hardly see anything,

"Come here a second somethings wrong," she said, he walked towards the shower, sliding the door open, she pulled him in crashing her lips onto his, taken off guard he hesitated before kissing her back with an equal amount of passion.

"I thought you said something was wrong?" he questioned, pulling away just a moment

"There was, it's fine now," she smirked at him, he bit his lip she had never been this bold before.

He slammed her against the wet titles, hungrily kissing her neck, she moaned in his ear, teasing his mind. His hand trailed down her stomach, he rubbed teasing circles on her most sensitive spot, she showed no sign of keeping her moans quiet. She ached to feel something more, she bucked her hips.

"Please," she whimpered, kissed her hard, while taking his shorts off she hiked her leg up, he held her up against the wall.
