Chapter 45

At St.Mungo's Hospital,

The nurses had been working with Katherine for nearly four hours, Theo heard people rushing down the hall. He snapped his head up, receiving a glare from Katherine's sister; Louisa, she whispered to who he was assuming was their mother, they hurried straight into the room, the nurse prevented him from entering.

Louisa and her mother looked over Katherine, her skin was an eerie grey, she groaned as she felt someone stroking her cheek. She looked around the room, trying to register where she was, she squinted as the room was really bright, she heard muffling like someone was talking to her.

"Katherine, can you hear its mum,"

"Mum? What are you doing here?" she groaned

"I should ask you the same thing, what on earth were you thinking?"

"Excuse me?"

"You could have gotten yourself killed," Louisa said, Katherine looked over at her sister,

"How I was just having fun-

"Yes, well fun turned nasty didn't it, they found a toxic substance in your blood," Katherine sat thinking to herself, she always checked her drinks there wasn't any way she could have been slipped a drug.

"Theo where is he, where's Rora, and Draco are they okay?"

"You shouldn't be concerned with them-

"Where are they?" she asked

"Katherine calm down,"

"NO!" she shouted, causing Theo to burst in through the door, rushing to Katherine side

"Are you alright?" she asked

"Does she look alright, this is all your fault,

"Mother,-

"You took her to that awful place-

"Mother!" she yelled "Leave us alone," Louisa showed their mother out of the room, she turned her head away from Theo as tears rolled down her cheek,

"Is everyone okay?"

"Yes, I got the Chalice, I'm so sorry Kat, this shouldn't have happened-

"No, don't do that, you got me here didn't you?"

"Your mother is right, it's my fault,"

"No, don't listen to anything she says, I noticed something, the children had no idea who Louisa was or my mother, I obviously didn't have them in my life, the only person, I need in my life is you," he smiled at her, he lifted her hand pressing a soft kiss on her knuckles.

"The Mediwitch said you could be in here for two weeks depending on how your body reacts,"

"Two weeks? I can't stay in here for two weeks," she said, she sat up swaying as she sat up too quickly

"Just take it easy okay?" he laid her back down

"You said, you got the Chalice?" she questioned

"Yeah, I gave Draco to hide and to destroy it if he can figure out how," she nodded, her eyes flicked over to the clock, she frowned

"I guess you'll have to leave soon, visiting hours are nearly over,"

"Yeah, I'll be back in the morning, in the meantime, try and get so rest," she brushed her hair behind her ear, she nodded, he leaned down to kiss her delicately, once he left she turned over, trying to get so rest.

'This is just great, what help would I be now, if I'm stuck in here for two weeks'

At Malfoy Manor,

Instead of returning to his home, Theo found himself at Malfoy Manor, he thought that Aurora might have been worried about Katherine. The hour was 3:00 am, he hoped that Draco and Aurora were still awake, and secretly hoped that Narcissa and Lucius had returned to their own Manor.

"Theo," Aurora threw her arms around him, no longer in her dress, she wore a long shirt and her hair in a messy bun.

"How's Kat, is she going to be okay?" she asked

"Yes, they said she'll a steady recovery they want her to stay in the hospital for two weeks," he told them, Aurora eyed him cautiously

"Did something happen?" she asked

"What why would you ask that?"

"I've known you for a long time, I know you love my cousin that's not it,"

"Your aunt and cousin were there,"

"Oh, now I understand, what did she say?" she nodded her head, knowing that her aunt would have made him feel bad for Katherine's state. 

"Katherine could have died, and she was right it was my fault,"

"Don't listen to her, she's never once been a concerning mother for Kat,"

"I got the feeling they don't get along," he admitted

"That would be an understatement, Louisa is favoured by her parents, Kat never was, Louisa was spoiled, Kat got Louisa's hand-me-downs, Kat hasn't had anything to do with them since she 15,"

"Really, where did she go, surely she didn't live on her own,"

"She lived me for a year, then she moved in with friend Phoebe," Aurora explained

Theo never took into consideration how Katherine's life was, never really caring they hated each other when they were at Hogwarts. He would have hardly noticed that she didn't get along with her sister or mother, or that she had left home at a young age.

Phoebe had been a great friend to Katherine, Theo understood where part of Katherine's hatred came from. Theo taunted Phoebe on many occasions, Katherine had even punched him a few times for it. The seer probably already knew what was going to happen to her friend.

"By the way, we thought you should know, we managed to destroy the Horcrux," Draco told him

"You did how?"

"It was actually Hadrian's idea, he said, brother went Horcrux hunting with Potter and told him how to destroy them," Draco informed him

"He said, Harry used the Sword of Gryffindor, obviously we don't have that," Aurora explained further

"I used Fiendfyre, to destroy, seemed to work," Draco threw him the Chalice

The dark magic that surrounded the Chalice was not longer purging the people around it, though something else was going to be an issue. Whether or not Bellatrix was aware of what they had done, or what they planned to do, once they found every Horcrux.
