3 years later

Cheryl carried her two-year-old son into the house while Isabella and Toni carried the groceries in the house.

"I'm telling you, momma. 3rd grade is so easy," The 8-year old says, holding the door open for her.

After 2 years, Toni finally asked Cheryl to marry her after they found out she was pregnant with Hudson, their two-year-old boy. And then she adopted Isabella. (A/N: I didn't write it in but Toni is intersex)

"I'm glad that you love it, baby." Toni smiled, placing the bags on the counter.

"Yeah! And I have 5 friends!" She smiled. "Amazing, baby. How about you help Momma put away the groceries while I go lay Hudson down, okay?" Cheryl said.

"Okay, mommy! Have a good nap, Hudsy!" Isabella said before going to the fridge.

"Anyways, Momma. Then after we did math, the kids were making fun of some boy because he had a hole in his shirt." Isabella frowned. Toni stopped putting the food away, looking down at her daughter.

"What were they saying, my love?" She asked, picking her up and sitting her on the counter. The 8-year-old shrugged, "I stopped listening after because I didn't like hearing it." She says.

"Okay, what about before you stopped listening? What did they say to him?" She asked again.

"Well, Uhm...they told people to move away from him, and they said that he stinks. I don't think he does, he's a cool kid." Isabella says.

"Yeah, okay, and what did the boy say?" She asked. They put Isabella in a school that doesn't tolerate bullying, so the adults don't even know this happened.

"He just said that it's not his fault," Isabella said. "Okay, does a teacher know?" Toni asked, moving to put the last item in the fridge.

"No. The boy didn't tell. But! At lunchtime, I gave him half of my sandwich because he didn't have lunch. And some of my friends also shared with him too." Isabella explained.

Toni smiled, "That is why I love you!" Toni kissed her forehead.

Cheryl entered the kitchen, "What I miss?" She asked.

"Bells, go do your homework," Toni told her daughter softly, handing her a rice crispy treat.

"Oh! Don't mind if I do!" She snitched the treat and ran upstairs with her bag.

"She doesn't get that from me. Something she picked up from you." The redhead said, opening the cabinet to grab Hudson's sippy cup.

"The kids at school were making fun of a boy because he had a hole in his shirt." Toni huffed, leaning against the counter.

"What? Why?" Cheryl asked, tightening the top of the cup. "I don't know. Bells said that the teachers don't know. But I have an idea." Toni nods.

"Baby, we can't save everyone." Cheryl chuckled, wrapping her arms around her wife's neck.

"No, no it's not that. Okay, so here's the plan..."

"Thank God, Tori agreed to babysit Hudson." Cheryl sighed as they sat in the hallway of the office. "Hey, we almost had to text your family." Toni shuddered.

No, Cheryl did not forgive them for what they did. She did not even talk to them, but recently Cheryl has been keeping in touch to see how her mother has been doing. Betty would try and offer Cheryl to dinner but the redhead would decline in an instant. Jason even tried to invite her to his daughter's 6th birthday party, but that didn't work either. Cheryl wasn't going to talk to them, she just wanted to make sure her mom was okay.
