Part three of "My Beautiful Girl"

Cheryl's POV

I clutch onto my girlfriend's warm hand while she guides me through the throng of dancing, intoxicated bodies. I scan the small bar anxiously as my free hand pushes down my skin-tight dress. Exams are finally over so TT suggested that we go out with our sophomore class to celebrate.

Some rich kid's parents' rented out this bar just for them, which I find absolutely ridiculous, but I digress. Toni glances back at me with a reassuring smile which I return, reaching to push up my glasses only to be met with the bridge of my nose.

Oh right. I'm wearing my contacts. When my girlfriend informed me that we were going to a bar, I insisted that I don't wear my glasses, which she instantly shut down. Toni hates when I change certain parts of myself for another viewer's gain, not even her own gain.

But I didn't want to be "book girl" tonight, I wanted to feel pretty.

"You want to find somewhere to sit?!" my girl inquires over the loud music while gesturing around the fairly large room. Practically every seat or table is taken but one at the very front of the bar. I nod my head and Toni leads me over, pulling my chair out. She then claims the chair beside me and without hesitation, she reaches out to drag my chair closer to hers.

Her lips slot against the crown of my head then down to my temple where she lingers for a moment. The stinging sensation of a blush smears up to the tips of my ears at her soft touch.

"I wish you had worn your glasses, my love. You look so beautiful with them on." Toni comments.

My heart skips a beat as I look up at her, meeting her eyes. "I just didn't want them to fall or break, you know?"

"Mhmm," she purses her lips with a nod. She knows that I'm lying. Toni Topaz knows me like the backs of her hands. If you were to ask her to point out every fleck on my body, she could flawlessly. "You're fucking gorgeous, baby, with or without your glasses." she praises while rubbing her nose against mine.

I giggle at the simple yet heart-accelerating action. She's so cute. After a while, Toni flags down a waiter and orders us some drinks. I ask for a Shirley Temple while she goes for a regular beer.

"You know, since you're only nineteen, I shouldn't be letting you drink," Toni teases.

"Shut up, you're only a few months older than me. Just because I was born the next year, doesn't mean anything."

She was born in March, the year before I was in August. However, to me, it's only a few months, not a year.

"But I think it does, babe. Because either way, I will still be a year old than you," her perfect lips curl into a smirk that has me clutching my thighs together.

"Whatever," I play it off with a scoff. Toni chuckles and rests her hand on the inside of my thigh, rubbing the smooth skin. I try to cover up the shiver-inducing action with a cough, my lip trapping itself between my teeth.

The waitress finally returns with our drinks so we thank her, immediately taking a sip of my Shirley Temple. I hum at the sweet, sugary taste. No hint of alcohol in it. "Hm, looks like the bartender is very aware of our minority status," I concede.

"Yep, I'm very aware," Toni concurs, eyeing her bottle of beer. It looked like fuzzy soda more than beer. "Welp, I'll take this as a good thing, I do have to drive us home,"
