Toni's POV

I hid behind the wall as my parents talked, "There's no way she'll know that it's us." My mother whispered as my father paced the room.

"I can't believe we just stole this from her! She'll know." He panicked. I furrowed my eyebrows as I continued to eavesdrop. "Hun, calm down. Cheryl won't know, we'll give it back to her." She said.

I peeked into the room and my eyes widened as I saw a plaque with 'CHERYL BLOSSOM' written in gold.

"They stole from Cheryl Blossom..." I whispered. Cheryl was one of the most scariest people in this town with her father being a drug lord.

"Let's just hide it before Toni sees." My father sighed. My mother nodded and they started coming towards the door, "Shit." I whispered before rushing into the kitchen and continuing my sandwich.

"Hey, Anty. You're not gonna eat dinner?" My father asked as he entered the kitchen and pointed to the sandwich I stuffed in my mouth.

"Uh, no." I cleared my throat, "I'm gonna head down early." I said, closing the bread up.

"No!" He outbursted and I jumped and looked at him like he was crazy, "Sorry." He sighed.

"Y-You can't go home tonight. Uhm...you have to stay here tonight." He said.

"Why?" I asked, turning my back on him as I put the mayonnaise into the fridge. When I turned around he shrugged, "Uh-Your mother misses you at breakfast every morning..." He diverts his eyes.

I eyed him suspiciously but nodded anyway, "Yeah, okay. I guess I could stay. Lemme just call V and tell her that I need her to take Yoshi tonight." I said, referring to my tiny dog.

"Alright, you do that." He smiled, but he was tense. "Dad? Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"No." He immediately answers. "No...uh, just very tired." He sighed.

"Okay. Then, I'll be in the guest bedroom." I say, taking out my phone so I could text Veronica.

Me: Hey, V! Can you please take Yoshi for the night? My parents want to me stay over👀

The V to my T💙: Yeah, sure! I'll go and get him now. Have fun!😂

Me: Please, my parents will make anything fun😃 also thank you so much!

I got into the bed and grabbed the remote as I bit into my sandwich.

My mother peeked her head into the room and I smiled, "Your dad and I are going to bed. Goodnight, love."

"Good night, mom. Love you."

"I love you too, dear." She smiled before shutting the door. I finished my sandwich then settled into the bed, keeping the Tv on for background noise.
