A Precious Accident

Toni's POV

"Toni? What does it say?" My mother knocked on the bathroom door. I let out a shaky breath as I looked down at the positive pregnancy test.

I opened the door and instantly fell into my mother's embrace, and she didn't ask questions, she just held me.

"It's okay, my love." She whispered against my head. I don't know why I was crying, I guess I was just overwhelmed, "W-What am I going to do?" I sobbed.

"You need to tell Cheryl right away, okay?" She pulled away so she can see my face, I pouted but nodded anyway, "S-She might leave me but, she deserves to know."

She kissed my forehead before pulling me into another hug, "She's not going to leave you. She loves you, "

When she left my room, I grabbed my phone and called Cheryl. The redhead and I have only been together for a year, and it was the best year of my life, that may be taken from me soon.

"Hey, baby girl!" Cheryl answered on the first ring. I smiled at the pet name before clearing my throat.

"Uhm, I need to you come over. Like as soon as you can." I said.

"What's wrong? Why do you sound...scared?" She asked and a tear rolled down my cheek.

"I-I need to tell you something, I-It has to be s-said in person." I let out a shaky breath again, trying to hold back my sobs.

"Okay, my love. I will be there in 15 minutes. I love you." I frowned, my chest pinging. I sure hope you will after I tell you this...

"I love you more." I sighed. Once Cheryl hung up I went into the bathroom to get the test. I looked at it once more as I felt hot tears form in my eyes, "Such a precious accident." I whispered.

I cleaned my face and took the test with me into my bedroom. I waited patiently for Cheryl to arrive, my heart beating fast at the thoughts of the outcome.

1. She could leave and just forget about the baby and me or 2. She could decide to stay and be there for the baby and me. And I just want it to be option 2.

Cheryl's POV

I sighed as I got out of my car after pulling into Toni's driveway. I used the key Mrs. Topaz gave me a while back and opened the door. Mrs. Topaz was sitting in the living room when I entered, "Hey, " I greeted.

"Hey, " She smiled at me. It was almost...sympathetic. I shrugged the uneasy feeling off as I excused myself to go check on my girlfriend.

I peeked into her room and saw her pacing the room, "Hey, hey, what's wrong?" I bring her into a hug.

Toni started sobbing incoherent words and I tried to keep up but I couldn't understand, "Alright, TT, breathe." I rubbed her back. After a few seconds Toni let out a sigh, "I-I'm-" She bit back a sob.

"I'm p-pregnant." She stammered. My eyes widened, "Oh..." I sat on the bed, shock taking over my body. Toni sat on the bed too, a few spaces away from me.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her into my lap, "Are you really?" I asked. Toni nodded and avoiding eye contact as she let out a couple of sniffles.

"I-I-I have the test," Toni said, pointing to the bedside table. I reached over to grab the test and smiled as I looked over it, "Wow." I whispered, my heart suddenly filling up with excitement.

"Y-You aren't going to...leave me?" The brunette asked and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "Baby, why would I leave you?"

Toni shrugged. I sighed, placing the test back onto the bedside table before turning Toni around so she was straddling my lap. "You're carrying my baby, our baby. I'm here not only for that, I'm here because I love you. I love you so much, more than you'll ever imagine. So don't for a second, doubt that my love for you will change because of this, my love is everlasting." I cupped her face, making her look into my eyes.
