Veronica invites the gang over for karaoke night, and Cheryl drunkenly sings a song for a special someone.

Toni's POV

"You coming to V's Karaoke night?" My best friend asked, biting her lip to contain her smile. I shrugged, "Maybe. If my mom lets me." I sighed, turning to the redhead for a sec.

"You going?" I asked before turning back to my locker. "I won't if you aren't. Plus, if your mom says no, I can ask her. She will say yes because she loves me." Cheryl smirked.

Toni rolled her eyes playfully, "No need to brag." I played along. I loved that Cheryl and my mother got along, it made me feel like Cheryl and I had a chance.

Cheryl reached up to play with my hair, a habit she picked up ever since we met, "I'll see, Cher." I sighed.

"Okay! See you at lunch." She kissed my cheek before turning and walking away. I watched her ass as she goes, biting my lip with a small smirk.

"Quit staring at my cousin's ass, T." Betty startled me. I sighed to slow the fast pace of my heartbeat, "You cannot sneak up on me like that, Cooper!" I huffed.

"Sorry, " She laughed, "When are you two going to suck it up, and admit that you're literally in love with each other?" Betty smirked.

I rolled my eyes, "We aren't in love with each other." I mumbled, trying to convince myself more than Betty.

"Mhm, and I'm still dating jughead." Betty said and I raised my eyebrow, "Huh?" I asked, remembering when they broke up.

"What? I thought we were naming things that weren't true..." She giggled and I slapped her shoulder.

"No but seriously speaking, I want Choni to happen!" Betty groans, walking with me.

"B, it's not that easy. Plus, that ship name you guys came up with sounds pretty awesome I gotta admit." I nod. Betty smiled smugly.

"Oh, trust me I know." She says. "You coming to V's?" She then asked.

"Why is everyone asking me. I don't know, my mother is still pretty upset with me for skipping school." I said.

"Damn, all I did was ask." Betty said, "Yeah, Cheryl needs to kiss you immediately." She says before walking away.

"Ugh!" I groaned, going to the bathroom.

Cheryl held onto my hand as we entered my house. It wasn't anything new, we'd always hold hands where ever we are.

"Is that you, T?" My mother called. "Who else would it be, mom? Dad doesn't get off until 3." I sighed, dumping my bag by the door.

She entered the hall and smiled, "Cheryl!" She greeted. "Hey, Mrs. T! How is the show?" Cheryl asked excitedly.

Cheryl's POV

"Amazing, dear! I'm up to season 4." She smiled.

"Great, I told you it was amazing." I chuckled. Toni cleared her throat, signaling for me to ask about Veronica's Karaoke night.

"So, " I breathed out, watching as Toni made her way into the kitchen. Mrs. Topaz looked up from hanging Toni's bag up.

"Veronica is having another karaoke night, and I was wondering...do you have any good song suggestions? I mean, that's if I go." I chuckled.

She frowned, "Why aren't you going?" She asked.

I shrugged, "Because Toni isn't going. She said she's still in trouble so I'm thinking about it." I sighed, looking down.
