THEY'RE KISSING, that's all I know. I did not let my tears to fell instead I fed my heart of hatred and grudge. They fucked up my trust. Ah, here comes another set of shitty people. They are really just around me.
I coldly laugh and in to their horror, someone caught their disgusting action which is me, the girlfriend of the boy that my friend is kissing with. Oh wait, cut that crap. He's now my ex boyfriend and she's no longer my friend.
"Lili, l-let me explain first." Carl defensively said. I smirked to them.
"What for? To fed me lies? No thanks." I rolled my eyes and turned my back to them. I slapped the thigh of sleeping Hannah and Grace. They easily woke up.
"Come on, Lili. Hear me out first." Carl begged and tried to reach my hand but I refused his touch. What a thick face, tsk.
"Shut up, we're done." I sharply said and looked straight to their eyes. Shanea's just watching us with teary eyes, paawa.
"Let's go." I coldly announced. The two girls walked behind me, confused on what's happening. I know they're about to ask what's happening.
"I'll spill in my car." I just said and as expected, nauna pa silang sumakay sa sasakyan ko.
"Spill." They said in unison.
"Carl cheated." I simply stated. Not thinking to elaborate the disgusting thing that they did.
"And?--Oh shit, don't tell me, with that nerdy girl?" Hannah asked with eyes widened.
"Yeah." I dryly responded.
"All along, tama pala ang instinct ko. Hindi nga mapagkakatiwalaan ang isang 'yon." Grace stated.
"What a perfect example of 'nasa loob ang kulo'." I rolled my eyes to avoid the tears that are about to form.
"By the way, you okay?"
"What a silly question, Hannah. Of course, she's not. But as usual, she'll deny it."
"Let's go. We'll drive you home so you can cry to your room where no one will see you 'weak'." They really knows me well, I think. Like what they said, they drove me home. The moment my back feels the comfort of my soft mattress, my tears pooled down together with my aching heart. Look how cruel people are. We are in a relationship for almost 1 year and 3 months and then this, all I thought is I am in a safe and perfect relationship. Silly me, damn people.
I cried my heart until it made me drifted into a deep sleep. Unfortunately, tomorrow morning, when I woke up I saw how swollen my eyes are. I shook my head while looking to my reflection in my mirror.
I took a cold shower and as long as I don't want to, my mind and heart just won't let it. What I saw yesterday night still lingers on my mind. I smiled bitterly, I feel so betrayed.
I trust them but they fucked it up. Now, they should know what a fucked up trust taste like.
After I wore a casual dress, I walk towards our kitchen. My Dad's already there.
"Morning, Dad." I greeted him and kissed his cheek.
"Good morning, Lili. Gabing gabi ka na namang umuwi kagai ah?"
"Nope, Dad. I came back before 12."
"And that's early?"
"I think so. Come on, Dad. Let's just not talk about it and let's eat our breakfast." I suggested. My dad heaved a sigh, a sign that he agreed with me.
After we ate, I fixed what we used when we ate. We don't do maid since I was 8. I always made their life living hell so that they will insist to leave our mansion no matter how big their salary is. They often call me brat but I don't give a fuck. Dad went to his study room to start his office works.
After fixing myself, I went upstairs to bid a goodbye to Dad.
The moment I stepped in to my office, I started working my ass off. There are many reports to review. In my first attempts to focus on my work, I succeed. But later on, I started to failed it. Damn this fucked up thoughts of mine. I can't even read a single paragraph. I remember Carl in every minute passed. I hardly close my eyes and set my back to the swivel chair.
"Fuck..." I hissed when our memories together continuosly flow in my mind. I did not even noticed the tears that pooled down to my cheeks and here comes again the pain inside my chest.
"I'm probably wasting my tears and time thinking of you, Ass." I gritted my teeth and deeply sighed. I wiped off my tears and open my eyes. No, I'm not a loser. I always win my battle and I always take down those who hinders my way.
I forced myself to focus on what I am doing. Thankfully, I overcome the pain I am feeling right now. I did not eat lunch meal and just stayed on my office. I can't feel hungriness that's why.
I get my phone from my bag and dials my secretary's number.
"Hello, Miss Lili. Ano pong ipapagawa niyo?" Magalang na salubong niya sa tawag ko.
"Buy me a cappucino." I answered.
"Alright, Miss. On it. Just wait for almost 15 minutes." Katherine, on the other line, energetically said.
"'Kay." I just responded and ended our call. Just like what she said, she knocked to my office' door after 13 minutes.
"Come in." She walked in and greeted me with her usual smile. I don't why she's like that. Maybe because for the sake of her job? Usually, the employees here will bow their heads when they saw me coming. Why? because in just a simple mistake, I can fire them in an instant if I want to.
"Good afternoon, Miss Lili." She smiled again while putting the cup of coffee in my table.
"May ipapagawa pa po ba kayo?"
"Nothing. You may go now."
"Okay po. Enjoy your coffee, Miss." She stated before going out of my office.
Almost eight in the evening when I went out for my dinner meal. While eating, memories flashed again to my mind. My eyes went teary in an instant but I wiped it off before it pooled down. I know, I can't sleep if I am not wasted. There's only one place to be get wasted on....BAR
