Natalie grabbed her purse and left her room. She could see Jack standing by the door. He didn't look the least scruffy this time though. He had a grey collar shirt, and black pants on. Natalie felt stares on her as she walked down the stairs. She finally got close enough to Jack and shook his hand. "It's nice to finally meet you Natalie." he said. "It's nice to meet you too." she replied. He had a strong Boston accent, but not a typical one. His was a Boston Brahmin accent. Not many men still carried that accent, but Natalie felt this made him a tad more attractive.

"Well we should get going..." Jack said. "You two have fun." said Cheri and winked at Natalie as they walked out the door. They got into his convertible and drove off. "So, where are we going?" Natalie asked. "It's a surprise." he answered and smirked at her. "Ok then." she replied and smiled. They continued driving through the crowded Boston streets until they came to a stop. Jack pulled up in front of the Marliave. One of the oldest and most expensive restaurants in Boston.

"We're here." Jack said. "Well I must say, you have great taste, choosing this restaurant." Natalie said. He looked at her and opened her car door. They walked into the restaurant. Couples, and business men occupied the restaurant and smoke from cigars filled the room. Jack had the walk of a movie star. He walked through the restaurant like he owned it. They walked up to a table with "Reserved:Kennedy" on it. After sitting down Jack asked her, "So could you use a drink?". "Yes!" she replied a little too eagerly. Natalie tried to think of something witty to say but couldn't come up with anything. She started twirling her hair (a habit she developed) but stopped when she noticed Jack looking at her.

"So, I recently read an article about you in the Saturday Evening Post... " The Senate's Young Gay Bachelor" wasn't it?" Natalie said. "Ah, yes." he chuckled. "So have you ever thought about getting married?" Jack said. "Excuse me?" Natalie replied. "Well a beautiful girl like you will surely get married at some point, right?" he said. "I suppose I will at some point. But I don't need a man by my side." she replied. Jack was surprised at her bluntness but nonetheless impressed. "Good to know." he said and lit a cigar.
