They went inside for a little while longer and soon it was time for them to leave. "Natalie, it was great seeing you. Give my best to Cheri." said Rose. "You too, Mrs. Kennedy! And I will." Natalie replied. Joe hugged Natalie and said, "See you soon, kiddo."
Jack and Natalie walked back to his car. "Well, that was fun!" Natalie said. "Not too bad." Jack said and laughed. After driving a little Natalie finally said, "So, your mother and I had a talk..." Natalie started, "And she told me you're sickly. Is that true?". Jack replied, "My mother shouldn't have said anything." He was clearly upset and was trying to dodge the subject.
"Look, I know we're only getting married for 'fun' but that doesn't mean I shouldn't know serious things like that about you." Natalie said. "Fine. Yes, I have an issue with my back and stomach but my mother makes it seem like I'm dying." he said. "She did say you're stoic." Natalie said. "I am not! I just don't like complaining about stupid things like that." Jack scoffed. "Health is not stupid, Jack. If you want to continue being in politics you have to keep yourself in good health." she said. "Yeah, I guess you're right." he replied.
Jack soon pulled up in front of Natalies house. "Thanks for the ride." said Natalie. "Anytime." he replied.
Natalie was glad to be home, so she could kick off her heels. That is until her mother greeted her at the door. "Well hello Natalie! How was your day?" she asked. "Hi mom. It was fine. Mrs. Kennedy says hello." Natalie replied.
"Look what came in the mail!! The invitations! Rose and I just finished going over the guest list." Cheri said. Natalie looked at the huge box. "How many are in there?" she asked. "Oh, about eight hundred..." she replied. "Excuse me?!" Natalie practically yelled. She had to sit down.
Eight hundred freaking people?! That's more people than I've met in my whole entire life!! I swear this wedding is going to give me a heart attack
"Who planned the guest list?" Natalie asked. "Mainly Jack's father. The actually ceremony will be public and there's going to be guards standing outside the church." Natalies mother said.
Oh Jeez! Since when am I royalty
"Look at the invitations though! They look amazing." Cheri said.
"Yes they're very pretty." Natalie replied.
