Natalie sat on the antique chair in the church's "wedding room". Her hair was done, she had very light makeup on, and her mother just put her grandmother's veil on her, which was also her Something Old.
Her Something Borrowed was a Kennedy family heirloom, a gorgeous necklace.
And of course her Something New was a diamond tennis bracelet Jack had given her in the morning.
There were crowds of people outside the church waiting to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds after the ceremony.
Natalie felt her stomach churn. She's never been this nervous in her life.
Photographers lined up in front of the church and police men struggled to contain all the people.
"Are you nervous?" asked Ethel. "A little..." Natalie said. Ethel tilted her head. "Okay, a lot." she said.
Ethel was also her Maid of Honor. Natalie didn't choose one of her friends as her Maid of Honor, because she had too many, and couldn't pick.
"Natalie, we're ready for you." interrupted the wedding coordinator.
