"I heard you went out with the Kennedy playboy." Charles said. "Ha, well his official name is Jack, but yes I did." Natalie replied. "Be careful sis. I heard he's quite a ladies man..." he said. "Yes I know, but he's actually a nice guy." she replied. "Are you bringing him to the wedding?" he asked. "Seriously? Mother just asked me that this morning. And I don't know yet." she replied. "I think you should. Unless you have someone else in mind... and you know mother would have a heart attack if you came alone." he said. "Yesss.... I know!" Natalie replied.
The Lavoie's had dinner together and soon her brother left. Natalie sat in her room thinking about the approaching wedding and wether or not she should invite Jack to accompany her. Finally, once her parents went to bed, she went downstairs and sat next to the telephone. She contemplated calling him for a few minutes but finally dialed his number.
"Hello?" he answered in a low voice. "Jack? This is Natalie." she said while biting her nail. "Oh! Natalie! It's good to hear from you." he replied. "Yes you too. So, as you know my brother is getting married in two weeks and I was wondering if you would accompany to the wedding?" she asked. "Of course! It would be my pleasure!" he answered. "Great! I will send you an invitation with all the details." Natalie said. "Alrighty! Good night Natalie." he said enthusiastically. "Good night Jack." she replied.
After their call she felt excited. She knew she probably wouldn't make it that far with Jack Kennedy but nonetheless she was glad that he agreed to her request.
