A few years later

She got the cake out of the oven and holds it carefully, afraid to burn her little hands; she put it on the table and called her little family to come and join her:

· Evander, Adam where are you?

In the other room, the father was pretending to be a bad pirate while the little son was defending his land( bed) but the sound of his mom distracted him while he was about to defeat the pirate. They stopped the game once they heard her.

· Let's go son before your mom gets angry. Evander said winking at his son.

· We're coming, mom. Adam said

They went down the stairs to find Anna done with the birthday preparations. They were just waiting for the guests who supposed to be home at any minute. *Ding-Ding,* the doorbell indicating they arrived they turned off all the lights, and once the door opened.

SURPRISE! HAPPY-BIRTHDAY SHADOW. They all said.

Shadow was so happy with the party his friends made for him; with Aurora by his side with their little girl they entered the house with big smiles on their faces. Aurora already knew about the surprise so she gave her favorite man a gentle kiss on his cheeks wishing him a happy birthday. They all started singing happy birthday for him while they sitting around the table.

they started as strangers but they end up friends for life, after all, that's what friends are for to be there for you, make you happy and stand by your side in the good and the bad, that's what Anna, Evander, Shadow, and Aurora were sharing.
